Have fun. :-)
Yes; but don't run VSE and KSE in the same mod-set.
Remark:
- Vengeance
- Vengeance Sections Expanded
- Kurogane
- Kurosections Expanded
are not compatible with "AI Use Custom Shipsets". This mod will cause havoc.
A small and elegant UI-Mod that adds more and scrollable building slots to zones I can highly recommend.
- No cluttered and overloaded planet view.
- 100 % compatible with UI-Overhaul Dynamic.
- Save game compatible.

New:
- Mod updated to Stellaris 4.06.*
Sorry to say but no problems with it on my side. If it does not update it's a problem caused by Steam.
New:
- Mod updated to Stellaris 4.**.*
No need to fix it. The warning does not tell anything about a mod working with the current version or not.
The launcher just checks a string in the .mod/descriptor file. Nothing else.
If I want I can do this:
# supported_version="v3.1*.*” (Commented out in the .mod/descriptor file)
supported_version="I'm just a useless string.” (Will be displayed instead of the version no.)
Merry X-Mas to you too.
I don't have any problem on my side. Did you put the mod below NSC? If not please do that.
Sorry that I can't tell you anything else.
New:
Models:
- NSC Flagship model.
- Transport-ship model.
TY. Problem is not the shipset but the poly limitation of the engine that does not allow us to use the 4 K models.
This is not a problem Vengeance can cause. It contains no relevant technologies just the ship models.
I'm using Gigas myself for years and never ran into a problem like you described.
I assume you have a load order or mod compatibility problem on your side.
- Added loca support for:
- Japanese
- Korean
- Simp. Chinese
- Deleted frigate specific files from mod to keep it in-line with Vanilla.
- Corvette and frigate models are the same now according to Vanilla.
- The former frigate model is now dedicated to the VSE Artemis ship-class.
Glad to hear you like it.

I'm sorry no.
The comp patch has to come from the ACG guys and many thanks for your praise.
Version 1.2.4.
New:
Model:
- New Juggernaut model
Adjustments:
- Frigate model works with NSC.
- Some small fixes.
Many thanks for your kind comment and the heads-up.
The "species" is a placeholder for "humans" in my dev-version of the mod and it should not be visible in the Steam steam-version of it.
Sorry for the confusion.
In this case you will get a massive update of Kurogane and KSE in the next days.
To answer your question. Yes :-)
We are currently in the last phase of a total KUROGANE and KSE overhaul. The "tea pot warmer problem" aka the Colossus (currently identical in VEN and KGX) is on our list but is not tackled yet.
I can't tell you when the model will be replaced but there will be a new model in the future.
Many thanks for your nice comment. Vengeance will updated in the future.
Maybe you would like to take a peek at Vengeance Sections Expanded as well. It contains unique ship-models / classes, technologies, weapons and more.
We are currently in the final phase of testing a new update for VSE.
- Adjusted supported version to Stellaris 3.1*.*
New:
- Added new Frigate ship model for Stellaris basic.
- Will not work with NSC as the NSC Frigate is a 2-section ship. Displays the Destroyer
model instead.
- Changed NSC Expoloration Cruiser model.
Coming back to your question,
It caused by NSC and their decision to change the Frigate from a 1-section-ship (Vanilla) to a 2-section-ship (NSC).
This affects this mod and VSE if used in connection with NSC but it does not have any impact on the functionality of both mods.
Correct. Corvettes and Frigates share the same model in the Vengeance base mod.
I don't have any problem with that in my current playthrough. It might be the case that another mod is the reason for the glitch on your side but this is just a guess.
To really tell you what is going on I do need more info on your mod setup.
Thank you very much for the feedback. Qualified reports are always welcome.
I will look into it.
I've planned an update for Sunday anyway. Hope that's OK as I'm occupied with RL matters during the week.
No problem on my side. Did you load Vengeance after NSC? If not put it below NSC in your load order.
Just out of curiosity.... Which models don't show?
First of all many thanks for your kind words and we will do our best to improve the mod in the future.
Now to the bad news.
The patch has to be made by the author of the downscaled ships mod. We are sorry.
The beauty of this ships, and pretty much all Stellaris ships, is obscured by the spacing and overlapping models.
Either way, these models are pretty fantastic. Thank you guys for making this.
It will not replace anything. It adds a full shipset you can select when creating your Empire.
The AI has no access to the set just in case this would be your next question. :-)
It does work with 3.10. as all of my other mods do. I'll update the mod sites and the descriptors tomorrow.
Was too busy with testing the mods for 3.10.X and RL to update.
