Nevermind, sorry about that, it was apparently a conflict with generator being too far from the placement of the lightswitch. Deleting my previous comment.

I can't figure out why, but I can get power for lights in all the rooms on my 3rd floor player-built base, but one. I've taken a lamp around and tested every inch of the wall with no luck. The power is still on, so it should be connected to the grid, right?

Take the light bulb, and replace it.
The light bulb seems to have reached its end of life.
and the server setting, if you increase the bulb life, you can use it for a long time.

Making the light switches works great but each time its like they have a time frame till how long they last before they stop working all together. I have to destroy the switch and remake another one just to get my lights back. Sometimes I get a day, sometimes a week in game before it breaks. I hope this can be fixed?

Just a little problem with it , i'm using it on a server and it seems (tested by admins) we cant build "OutDoor Lights" (we found them using the mod "craft helper continued". Any info about that?

The light switch is an outdoor light.
It has a light source and can be turned on and off.
However, additional bulbs are required, and they must be replaced periodically.
It can also be used indoors.
It is an expedient designed to implement interior lighting.
If you don't understand, experiment with the mod yourself in the testing world.

It can be added to an existing save.
When mod removed, bulb power consumption may remain.
