@Blitz_The_Soldier Maybe at some point, I was thinking about it, but that would be a much more difficult challenge than porting someone else's mod.

But seriously I have been hoping the old 40K imperial ships mod would get a new release/update, last time I booted up stellaris I got the Boxes for ships issue due to how outdated the mod was.

@Zeth.exe This mod works with vanilla, I only have NSC2 listed as required because you don't get everything in the mod without it.

Thanks for your work in patching up my mod! I've found some downtime in studies to implement a ton of my own fixes and reworks on my original mod and I found your mod afterwards. I implemented your method of patching mega structures since I didn't spot those problems in my bug testing, you've done a great job!

Since I still have over a year left on my degree, I wont have time to post consistent updates so you'll probably still be needed for a while, but as a heads up there's now quite a few differences in my mod compared to the previous update so you may want to work on my new files moving forward.

If you'd like to maintain contact with me to discuss stuff about the mod such as bugs, files, models, textures, etc. feel free to add me on steam so you can directly dm when needed. (I rarely look into the comments of my own mod to prevent myself from getting distracted and falling down the modding rabbit-hole whilst I should be doing assignments lol, as a heads up).

I do have a mod that adds ships called gothic. might that be the conflicting error?

@METAL Place NSC2 on the bottom of your mod load list and it should work

I think I've solved the problem
Presumably NSC2 cannot be enabled with some mods that extend ship design
But can run NSC2 with "more ship sections"

Also I was wondering if you would add more ship models of WH40k?

@METAL I'm not sure how that would happen, but it seems like a mod conflict, considering that running my game with only NSC2 Season 7 and this mod doesn't get rid of the computer slot. https://imgur.com/8KA04be
Try turning off other mods, if you find what's causing the conflict, tell me and I'll see what I can do to fix it.

It also crashes the game due to the fact that special ships have been built before (the ship computer is missing and there are no computer modules to install in the ship design)

I was not able to install computers on some of the NSC2 ships when designing the ships, so the special ships of the NSC2 mod (such as the flagship) could not be built properly
This issue has existed before, but it disappeared for a while when this mod(fix WH40K shipset) was just installed, and now it has reappeared, I wonder if this is a conflict with my other mods or something else?
Does anyone have the same problem as me?

Hmm, other than that I'm not sure. I run it with 214 other mods, and when I was bug fixing conflicts I would turn off half my mods, and depending on whether or not it works, turn off half of the mods that are on or turn on half of the mods that are off, then rinse and repeat until you find the mod that's causing the bug. Of course, this mod should be active whilst doing that.
My method takes me about 20 minutes to find the conflicting mod, but that's running off of my SSD, so the amount of mods, and the type of drive, will affect the time taken.
Please, if you find the mod, send me a link to it's workshop page so I can take a look and try to fix the mod conflict.

I can confirm that I do not have the original mod installed. I did have it previously, but it is not in my current playset in the launcher and I am not subscribed to it.

@nemesis I'm not sure, assuming the original mod isn't queued up with this fix, I can't think of anything that would cause it.
The old mod had this issue, so I took out the mammalian fallback. The only thing that should affect it is another mod calling up the models and reintroducing the fallback, which should only be the previous version of this mod linked in the description.
Technically speaking, only a shipset that uses the variable name gothic_01 for it's ships should affect it.

Do you know what mods could potentially conflict? I have quite a few but not a massive amount, and the only thing I could potentially think would be another shipset?

@nemesis make sure you're not running the original alongside it, and that you have NSC loaded under it in your mod list. If it's not either of those it's likely another mod conflicting with the shipset.

Great mod! Thank you for updating this shipset. Sadly, I seem to have an issue where some sections of the mammalian ships are clipping through some of the models. Do you know what could cause this?

@Sergeant Arch Dornan I tested with all the mods you sent me and had no issue on my end but the mod folder was cut off part way through. An easy way to figure out which mod is causing the conflict is to load half of the mods you run usually and, depending on if they're working or not, load or unload half of what's left.

I have the mod you sent installed, and I have it active alongside this mod and NSC season 7. The NSC ships work fine in my installation. Could you send me an image of the issue and an image of your mod folder?

When I play a imperium related game I just do the new components. my main problem is the fact that the models for NSC won't show
