I think might be because lacking vast expanse tech (ones that unlock birch world construction) but I'll try speedrun it. Things keep crashing due to my rushing but eh, I am in too deep.

No idea, as void sphere is ACOT? I don't modify anything with those decisions.

Oh no, it's 3.14 since I downgrade it. I just don't have the planetary decision to make the birch void sphere with the restored birch world despite already making one. I might've 'speed things up' a bit with birch sphere restoration but that shouldn't pose a problem I think?

I wouldn't use this mod in 4.0 until I get around to updating it.

It should not do anything to interfere with that, but I couldn;t rightly say for 4.0. I am waiting until the next major gigas update where they integrate the Birch World properly into 4.0.

For some reason, there's no planetary decision to make the birch world into void sphere version despite I already research the void sphere thing and make one, did I do something wrong or this mod interefere with something?

Yeah, the other thing it's waiting for is for me to spawn either of them in one of my casual games as I want to play the damn things and they keep hiding from me.

I don't know if there is an achievement for them, because I haven't seen either in any of my modded games, let alone an ironman achievement playthrough! Rumour is next major patch lets you select precursors, so that might happen.

Hello I was wondering about the load order for ZOFE as I can't seem t get the living metal districts to spawn on the birth world, or is that post ascension?

Not that difficult, you'd want to use my mod as a reference, but it would be the case of an event that copies my initial code where it spawns the solar systems, without then going on to the later steps where it sets up the birch world and the colony

Hello, I was wondering how easy it would be to force the Aeternum layout to spawn just like you have here but without taking the Origin. Basically, I want to be able to start as a normal empire, discover the hyperlanes to the core and when it spawns it's in this layout but empty.

Finished my game, so tested the ZoFe compat and all of that is back with the extra districts for ascended empires, also a nanite fabricator district if you are running Nanite Expansion.

I am done with dev for this for a while.

Yeah, seems to be working fine for me too. I also noticed and enjoy the leviathan traits, and I just got the second archaeology site at the ruined/restored science nexus that gives some other leviathan techs. Nice touches! 👍

Ok another update, didn't get to play all the way through as I got stomped by the Kaizer, but oh well. As far as I can tell everything is working nicely.

As a bonus, a while (5 year pulse) after you get the relevant ascension trait, a new archelogy site will spawn that lets you dig up the info for leviathian traits. There is a separate one for gene or machine traits, depending on your AP. (both will spawn if you are using All Ascension Paths).

The quiet little ZOFE compatibility code around a full birch has been removed until further notice. Aka I play an entire game and get to test it.

That is by design, it's a ruined birch world you have to restore. The start is working perfectly fine, same as regular birch world origin.

Worlds would not spawn with the correct modifiers, otherwise I think it will run, but it may hard-crash if I have called any of Guillis apis.

This fixes a lot of the issues I had with the birch start + Gulli's stuff. Could you make a version that is actual Aiondia with its two planetary computers but the same outside rings you have? I'm wondering if that'll be balanced since Aiondia will be useless for like 100 years and just be a huge 300-400 alloy drain on a starting eco, with your only way to make alloys being the planetary computers which are more research planets.

It only needs updates if gigas changes the birch mechanics or origin. I have a load of tweaks to it from my last playthrough, but as they add an extra district (bunker) and ZoFE compatibility they are less tested so I've not been pushing them on everyone.

I know there's a mod that adds a bunch of origins that combine away on an island with a lot of the vanilla origins, but I'm not sure if the it's being maintained more than just keeping it up-to-date with the base game

Thats a shame, though I don't think there would be much compatibility issues, but you likely know more about that than I do. I know you can get a birch world off in cohesive cluster even with one in the core(did so in a test), you just got to cheat in the perk to get them before accessing the core as the core is created once you complete the operation to discover the hyperlanes into it(or just created right off the bat with decaying birch origin).

It could be done, I am unlikely to do it in the near future, mostly to prevent gigas compatibility issues.

I have an interesting origin idea regarding birch worlds, didn't see anything similar and seems your the only one with an origin regarding birchworlds outside of giga itself, so I'll put the idea here. Combine both Birch world origin and extra galactic cluster start still allowing the core to be left open like normal. That way you can also have Aeternum spawn in and have a war of the birch world dwellers. I would think it would be somewhat easy to do but even with my limited programming knowledge I assume it would be more than just copying and editing parts of the two origins together so the idea is a bit out of my ability to try to make.
