I was looking for a HUD mod for Eat Drink Sleep Repeat and I found literally exactly what I was looking for. Not only the fact that it is a HUD mod for it but also by the fact of how it looks

@Wyte Knight I don’t use those mods, so I’m not sure. There is a note in the description above about repositioning the shield hud, but I don’t know about cases it is missing. Maybe ask them if there is an incompatibility with hud mods?

Hello!
I'm using WeaponCore, Defense Shields, and since I added this mod we don't see the Shields' HUD anymore. It appears as soon as I delete this mod, and disappears as soon as I add it back.

I'm hosting a Dedicated Server, Keen's way.
I tried to move it in the loadorder a bit, putting it all at the top initially, then below Defense Shields & WC, same issue.

I'll try the Plugin version soon, but if you have a fix for the Mod version it could be really cool!

It's a shame SE doesn't manage workshop mods like Arma where mods are loaded by the client.

@Dungeon Master there is a way using plugins, this mod is available as plugin using the plugin hub. People who want to use it would have it even if the server doesn’t.
I don’t like plugins very much, but works haha

If you have the mod on the server, everyone else has to use it too. Optional doesn't work if you have a DS and play with others.

Hi, I'm new to Space Engineers and was wondering if its possible to have this as an optional mod on a server, I don't want to force others to use it but would like to use it myself.

The problem is also which DS are you using.. Vanilla or Torch? With Torch the order has to be completely reversed. So the list. And the sorting in the Windows File Explorer has absolutely no influence on the mod loading order.

the mod loading order is ONLY determined by the arrangement in the Sandbox_config.sbc and Sandbox.sbc. Nothing else. It doesn't matter whether Torch or Vanilla DS.

I told you all why this mod don't load
i will repeat because apparently its not sinking in

"you need to force the mod order to be on top or it don't work"
fix the code to apply before any other mod and it wont be a problem anymore

this mod doe not work on Dedicated servers because of this.
the File system automatically re-organizes the Folder to "ABC"
this breaks the mod

That is strange, I can't think of any case this mod would cause a crash.
If you remove this mod then it stops crashing? Are you sure you're commenting on the right mod page?

Hey, this mod doesn’t have any code. It is just an xml file that the game reads. It is mostly likely that something else is causing the crash. Have you tried with only this mod enabled?

Would there be a way to for you to Force your mod to load first in priority or maybe all HUD based mods could do this

This mod only changes the XML files for the HUD, if you have another mod that do the same thing it will override this one.
So for example E.D.S.R! have their own HUD, if that above this one you will see their version instead.

So this is why you need to make sure this mod is above any other one changing the HUD.
As for the server configs I'm not familiar with that, you may need to research on how to force mod order.

Hey so i tried banging my head against the keyboard before i came here so here is the problem,
Your mod has to be the first Mod on the list to load or it don't work.
in Co-op or local game we can put the Mod at the top - on a Dedicated server it wont allow it to be moved because of the "Mod ID Number" position in the File structure
i tried to move it and with no luck it just re-organizes for ya
Any help would be awesome i have a Nitrado 20 No mans sky server for our community and im just trying to get it going smooth

@Sardaukai Hey! I'm thinking on how we could do that to this mod instead of a copy.
For the original EDSR I'm checking if any of the stats are bigger than 0 and then showing all of them.
For this advanced version we could only show the new stat when it is bigger than 0, maybe?
Also where would you recommend it to be put on screen?

I have done some extra survival stuff to Eat. Drink. Sleep. Repeat! and added another stat.
Are you interrested in adding this stat to a copy of your mod in order to make it compatible?
Would be really nice.

Why added another stat like bloating?
Deny players to eat a lot of "bad food" you have to eat burgers and steaks in order to stay healthy.

@Ronix oh, you may have not added it to the mods list then. Usually at world creation but you can edit settings at the load page and click mods as move it from the left panel to the right panel at that menu. I don’t have the game open here to describe the steps better than this, but if you can’t find it just look for “add mods to existing save on Space Enginners” or something like that.
The mods you subscribe here become available to be added per save/world

no I don't. it is literally the only mod I got. the only other "mod" is a ship that's added in my blueprints. and I doubt that THAT could be the reason can it?

the Z hotkey indicator is still showing up in the wrong place for me, seems like it assumes a 16:9 display for its position.

A minor issue really but would be nice to see corrected

Using the plugin version of this, it changed to Gg (Giga Grams) for mass readout instead of Kg (Kilo Gram). Any way to change that?

@Adriano Worked. I provided some transparency in the game settings. Actually the horizontal horizon was working. It was not visible because it was not transparent. In other words, when the transparency setting is not lowered, the two colors are the same. So I made it transparent in the game settings and the colors started to be different. So it works.

I haven't been able to find any apples or wheat to get my farm started in my current game. When I had previously used this mod I remember getting some in either a supply drop or my respawn pod. Where can I find apples and wheat (+ others)?

@UnExcited yeah, mine was working before so it is possible that Keen broke something. When I have the chance I will check vanilla and mine. My mod just use that value the same way the vanilla hud did before, I’ll check what changed on vanilla and apply updates if needed.

I haven't tested Vanilla, yet. But I suspect they (Keen) failed to adjust the function that populates player_xxx_bottles to reflect the changes with the stacking.

@Adriano I didn't have a look in your mod files, yet. Can you use the value stored in player_hydrogen_bottles and player_oxygen_bottles? I am aware in the Hud/Default.sbc it's essentially just a 'switch' if x do bla etc. :)

When bottles are stacked, it only displays 1 bottle. But I don't think that's on you, I think that's an oversight by keen. Just wanted to let you know. :) Love the HUD, it's exactly what I needed.
