It's ownership on all blocks the same?
Yes, i can't remember where I put it though lol
Anyway awesome script, never had it fail on me, I only realized today that it can control subgrids! Honestly had no idea.
One issue with subgrids control is no hand brake feature or brake, would it be possible to add that?
Many thanks 👍
I think the comments/instructions at the top of the scripts are great. save from having to open a separate window to read the notes.
Would you be able to answer my other question, how to adjust the speed of the turning? I think it has to do with the friction settings, but I'm unsure of which to adjust
The description above has Skid Steering in bold and italicized. Always follow the instructions on the workshop page if the comment differs. I will be removing all of the setup instructions from scripts to avoid this desync in the future.
I had that too... and looked in the script... it should be "Skid Steering".
The description has "Skid steering" but the variable it looks for is "Skid Steering"
Also, is ownership of every block on that ship set to you (including the programmable block)?

I used a blueprint I knew worked before, no luck.
I checked the block group's name and selected blocks, all looks good.
I even updated the script to the latest version.
The odd thing I noticed was the programmable block recognized the block group, but not the Controller, Wheels, or Gyro. They were listed as "(none)" or "0".
The blueprint in question is my "M1 Abrams" which can be found in my workshop. Any help would be appreciated!
I'd like to include some wheels in the skid steering group for adaptive friction but still turn normally with them. I tried the skid ignore name tag but that didn't work. Current workaround is having 20% friction on those wheels.
@Souls: Not really... How many wheels do you have?
It's not in this script, but I can add an option for it
@blackwatch, you can configure how long that friction transition takes in custom data. If it is slow it will be more stable
