Usually I bake the normals onto an image from a sculpture, and add more details later the same way.

On the second half of Lambda Core mod broke and models back to original. Hope its fix.

The Vortigaunt from HL2 looks more pale, while 20 years ago they looked like this

Black Mesa seems to have some problems with model replacements. I don't think I can do anything about it, unfortunately.

Some model replacements don't seem to work 100% of the time for some people. Unfortunately I don't think there's anything I can do about it.
