is there a way to make the system navigation arrows bigger?
Sunset Sarsaparilla 9 Dec, 2022 @ 6:48am
Seems like a rather pointless question to ask, but will this still work with 3.6?
Zarkx 1 Oct, 2022 @ 9:25am
hello with your camera mod we can follow with better zoom ship ?
•LGA• Cyrus: Emperor of Mankind 27 Jun, 2022 @ 6:37am
Can I zoom into the planets? Like go upclose?
Angelic Burrito 24 May, 2022 @ 11:22pm
Heck yeah. It's a fantastic update for me since I don't rotate the camera much anyway and especially not below the system plane, but I did find the camera resetting quite annoying.
Vicinian  [author] 24 May, 2022 @ 7:08pm
OK updated for v3.4.

I played around with it so that it doesn't enter at the same plane as the system anymore. As a compromise, you can no longer rotate the camera down 90 degrees. HOWEVER, you can still do this while focused on any planet/star/moon/ship/whatever, so if you want to see the system from less than -30 degrees, focus on the home star or any other object in the system.

As always feel free to provide feedback.
nyyfandan 11 Apr, 2022 @ 5:48pm
Unfortunately I would tend to agree with the previous comment. Having it divert to an almost useless camera angle every time you go into a system is quite frustrating. Love this mod but I have to disable it until something gets fixed. Maybe a version of this mod that applies the changes to system UI and planet lines, without the changes to the camera?
lnodiv 8 Apr, 2022 @ 8:48pm
> Only way to fix this is to set the max pitch to 180 degrees, but that would then mean when you rotate the system to view it from above or below, you would invert the camera, which is more annoying than starting at 0 degrees.

Is it, though? Because this is unplayable.

Funny thing, I get the orbit lines back without reloading my game. And they're more white (less transparent) than without this mod enabled.
Zares 24 Mar, 2022 @ 8:43am
It doesn't work properly* I have smaller navigation arrows, and no orbit lines at all (which is fine to be honest). But no more zoom levels.
Zares 24 Mar, 2022 @ 8:40am
It doesn't work for me for some reason. I even put it to the very bottom of my load order. I have only 10 zoom levels and the thing mentioned in the change notes :(
Ragnarr Loðbrók 13 Mar, 2022 @ 10:08am
Damn you paradox you broke (particially) one of my most favorite mods! :( i hope this will get some attention cause for now, it's quite annoying. Thanks for keeping it updated @vicinian

base game add
Curvaceous Mite 28 Feb, 2022 @ 8:30pm
This looks like a cool mod, unfortunately having each system reset the camera in-plane with the orbits each time is a real pain. Hopefully Paradox can fix whatever they screwed up soon...until then, I think I'll have to pass. Hope for all the best though.
PotatoSalad 25 Feb, 2022 @ 6:18am
Can you zoom with keyboard buttons, like in HoI4 and Ck3?
Vicinian  [author] 23 Feb, 2022 @ 8:09am
Updated. Unfortunately, when entering a system, the camera will now start at the same plane. Explanation given in the change notes.
Brokkhouse 23 Feb, 2022 @ 7:21am
Hi, thank you for a great mod. Is this compatible with 3.3.1?
stardestroyer 21 Jan, 2022 @ 5:37am
Actual launcher do not permit to enable this mod, says it miss descriptor file, can you help?
Grendain 8 Jan, 2022 @ 9:18pm
3.2.1 ?
Nhawks17 9 Dec, 2021 @ 3:19pm
Awesome mod! Any update on compatibility with Real Space - System Scale? I would love to use both of these mods together :o
Francisco 5 Dec, 2021 @ 5:19pm
Is it updated to last version?
Cercamon 1 Dec, 2021 @ 5:33am
Thanks for the recommended mods.
Lufian 28 Nov, 2021 @ 2:18pm
Is there a chance you can just make a mod that removes just the orbit lines? I would use the command to remove them but I've already reported a bug that causes the game to crash when doing that.
Grendain 21 Nov, 2021 @ 8:38pm
Thankss
Vicinian  [author] 21 Nov, 2021 @ 10:17am
@Grendain Will do, can't wait to play it myself. :)
Grendain 21 Nov, 2021 @ 6:17am
This mod remove the Orbits lines ? i hope you update this mod for 3.2
stellakiwi 6 Nov, 2021 @ 2:52pm
oh ok its because i only want the ability to lock from under
Vicinian  [author] 4 Nov, 2021 @ 4:09pm
@Rocketry101 No, but I believe there are other camera mods on the workshop that only edit the camera angles/zoom levels.

The primary purpose of this mod was precisely to dynamically show and hide the orbit lines, since I find that they take away from the beauty of (modded) Stellaris. :)
stellakiwi 4 Nov, 2021 @ 2:37pm
is there a version with no orbit hide?
novicespellcaster 24 Sep, 2021 @ 1:00pm
haha don't worry about it thanks for the reply!
Vicinian  [author] 24 Sep, 2021 @ 12:36pm
@DataBrix Hey, sorry for the late response. It modifies the checksum so I believe every player in multiplayer needs to be subscribed for it to work.

I can at least confirm that it does work with all players subscribed. :)
novicespellcaster 22 Sep, 2021 @ 3:07pm
Hey, is this mod client sided? Can I use it in mp games?
Nikolai301000 20 Sep, 2021 @ 1:15pm
Alright cool. From the video and what I was able to see in-game with RS:SS disabled, this mod is also a must have for me. I hope you are able to get the compatibility mod up and running; thank you for making this awesome mod!
Vicinian  [author] 20 Sep, 2021 @ 1:04pm
@Nikolai301000 Ahh, yes, that'll do it. I might try to make a compatibility mod for it :)
Nikolai301000 20 Sep, 2021 @ 1:03pm
Sorry for the late response, but I finally found the problem. Real Space System Scale and this mod are completely incompatible. System Scale always ends up overwriting this mod no matter the load order.
Vicinian  [author] 20 Sep, 2021 @ 9:40am
@Nikolai301000 Does your camera not behave the way that you see in the video? I assume you don't have any other camera mods running?
Nikolai301000 20 Sep, 2021 @ 9:22am
I don't seem to notice much of a difference. Is there any mod or mods that might conflict/overwrite this one?
Leviathan 20 Sep, 2021 @ 3:45am
too bad it modifies checksum :(
else its the best camera mod yet
AlphaLoures 18 Sep, 2021 @ 6:25am
Hell yes.
