i can't get it to work even though i have no css from gmodcontent, and i have no flashlight sound addons.

@alexhbasinger you'll need to verify the game files as it replaced the original sound so basically the original doesn't exist anymore, by verifying the game files steam will check for all the files that get installed with the game by default and if it finds out that some files are missing it will reinstall them.

How to do it:
From the 'Library' section, right-click on the game and select 'Properties' from the menu. - Select the 'Local Files' tab and click the 'Verify Integrity of Game Files' button. - Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

must be a conflict uninstall all flashlight sound related addons

so i uninstalled this recently and now instead of this sound persisting or getting the default sound, its just loud ass static whenever I activate the flashlight

it will work if you have mounted cs:s, but if you downloaded from gmod-content, you have to delete the sound of flashlight from there

make sure to join a club

browse your css content and go to sound\items if you have more problems contact me on discord
