I'd strongly suggest the version on Nexus. This is just a demo at this point really. Thought I'd reiterate, since I haven't posted on the topic in over a year.

I just did a new version for this, It's on nexus. Uninstall the steam version if you use it. Cheers.

Also, you said the mod is outdated back in 2018 but it looks like this is the same version as the one on the nexus page in the description. Am I missing something? or is 2.0.1 the latest version still?

Hi I really like the mod. I am now able to recruit recruits but when I change their armor their is a mesh problem with their current clothes. I can not remove their current clothes either.

Just a little reminder to everyone here that this version is no longer supported. If you want the up to date version you will need to acquire it from Nexus, at the link posted in the Description page above.

Steam version will still work, but has not been updated in years and will not be updated again.

I think I collected 120 or something ridiculous in one game.

At one point when the mod was young I proposed a contest for collecting goblets. Still would be a fun idea.

This mod is really nice. I've been killing stormcloaks ever since and collecting those victory goblets.

Btw, I did find that sometimes the mod's integrated Imperial/Stormcloak NPC's are Faction-Passive Aggressive, when accidently striking one too many times, the entire faction that the Sieges NPC's are integrated to attack the player, however, due to the vanilla game's faction NPC's not following the same part, will neither help you nor the other modded NPC's.

Also, P.S: I did also find that sometimes that your/the game's companion(s) (Any, from what I know of, not only faction-based) will also sometimes think the mod's NPCs are hostile factions to them, so I'm not sure on why but just a heads-up.

CWRS does -absolutely- nothing to the vanilla civil war forms, and this is the first time I've seen anything like this reported.

I'm going to have to put a bit of a truthful downer on this mod, but I'll have to say that there is a major bug in the mod which potentially sometimes disrupts the Campaign to reclaim Skyrim, making some dialogue options nonexistant.

To this end, I'm going to try this without the mod, and see if the dialogue is still gone, i'll repost a comment later of my results, if yes, then this mod will need some serious bug-checking or tweaking, otherwise enabling and disabling this every time you want to play a post/pre Civil War save file will be annoying, and likely no longer worth the trouble to install it.

Results: Good News, It doesn't do any major conflicts, although I'd recommend enabling the mod in a Post-Civil War savefile, avoid any Pre-Civil War saves, since I think it bugged my dialoge options for the War campaign.

Offensive Recurring Sieges occur every 48 hours. This one will sit in your journal until you go to the objective.

Defensive Sieges may occur every 12 hours, but only occur when you are in the vicinity of a fort involved in the civil war. You are not directed to these by means of side quest.

The mage has a 50/50 chance of appearing each time you choose "Disband and reseed"

This has me thinking of reworking how recruits appear. Unfortunately that won't be a simple task because of the complexity of how it's implemented. I always thought it was a bit clunky having to use the ledger to refresh npcs, but at the time it was the best I could come up with. I could probably come up with a better way of doing that now. So I'm glad this has come up.

They should be showing up in random inn locations, and I do mean any inn location in the world. There are only ten recruits so sometimes you really have to search. If there's none showing up at the inns you can immediately get to, then try disband and reseed at the ledger.

If none of this is working then you are experiencing some other freak issue which I can't account for, at least not without knowing more about your mod lineup etc. Even then though, in the entire history of this mod there have never been problems reported with this feature. So either some new mod is potentially breaking it, or I know naught what.

CWRS is essentially what it is at this point. This all started out as a fun little addon for my own civil war experience. It's delivered on that for myself and I think, most that have used it. To add further layers of complexity--and to add skse dependency among other things at this point would alter its identity and its intention.
