So, this mod worked fine for me in 3.14

I haven't had a chance to test it in 4.0, however. (I'm waiting for the vanilla release to be more or less playable first).

Love this mod for the early Carrier. Would it be possible to add the Destroyer to the "Carrier Role" list too? Should be in 00_utilities_roles

is this mod compatible with Carrier Improvements 3.9 ?
Also - is this mod working with Stellaris v3.9.1 ?
There appears to be an overlap here - both mods specify Light Carrier Cruiser Designs and Advanced Carrier Designs.
I have run both these mods with Stellaris 3.9.1 and the game crashed with an error:

im currently not playing Stellaris. Only starting it when like patches coming up or i get tickets in discord. (discord is fastest way to get my attention.) im not looking very often on steam, sometimes its just luck that i look at the same day someone makes a comment.

Just a comment, but the missile sections really need a rework. Since the combat update, only torpedoes are G slot, so a larger saturation of M and S slots with PD would do the trick. I modified mine locally temporarily, shouldn't be a difficult fix.

Subscribing to this as it sounds like it could be interesting. As i go through all these mods and add them I feel real bad about asking if the mods will be updated with how much ya have had to answer that same question

AT WAR: STARBASE IMPROVEMENTS provided the upgraded platforms and sections for more strike craft. Playing with it too now. Again love the mod. Thanks again.

This mod is glorious. I just wish it had more compatibility with gigastructures. Either large fighter groups/ships for attack moons and planetcraft or options on the moons and planetcraft to go more fighters. So you have to bring a large group of carrier battleships to assist. Also works amazing with the dark space mod supercarrier from heart of iron civic.
Is there any way to get a station defense platform with more section options for than 1 hangar bay each in a future update?
My current game has a sever mote shortage so I'm not using the missile sections but in a previous game I had plenty to support a missile fleet and it was a lot of fun also.
I make no promises this mod is balanced but I am having a tremendous amount of fun with it. Thank you for keeping it up. :steamthumbsup:

Are destroyers supposed to get two carrier slots? That seems a bit unbalanced for so early in the game.

@PookySmile oh yeah. i know about the balancing issues, but currently im not really playing Stellaris and the feedback will help a lot to balance it later on. readded the Carrier Sections. accidentally removed them from 3.5 to 3.6 update.

Seems to work, at least it doesn't crash the game. But it has some balancing issues with latest patch. And also some sections are now missing like battleship and cruiser hangar sections aren't there.

Have the decency to roll out legacy mods if you're going to keep up with Paradox's inhumane updates. Hope the day of fixing these mods is worth it.

@ranma100 - I've been playing 3.6 with the full At War set and the answer is no, Guided weapon slots don't really work particularly well, mostly due to the minimum range and firing arc changes. Also, the frigate is unusable because there's no power plant available for it.

the patch should work like before. the switch from 3.4 to 3.5 didnt change anything in the code in this mod.

Absolutely every empire in my game is making fleets of exclusively carrier battleships with torpedo strike craft, and getting pwned by my fleet of torpedo corvettes.

could you add a computer that will be "minimum range"? (It puts the ship the farthest it can be to be able to hit the target ship with all of it's weapons. So, if you have a bunch of weapons with a range of 150, but 2 with a range of 130, it will go to 130.

Something like this is *exactly* what I'm looking for. I tried NSC, but I think it actually adds far too much bloat. And while some ships sets look better than others, you can often see that the sections are clearly kitbashed together. Also not a fan of the immersion breaking cuise missile names.

So just having more variety with the existing ship models is very nice. :) It's hard to find mods like this that are vanilla friendly.

Does the AI use these sections?

@新笨笨猪 The Titan has has more weapon slots as for the other ship's their are more like sub-classes with different weapon slots
