lol Well see I want this mod to be usable without gigastructures but still have compatibility with it you know? Not everyone plays with it or plays it every game. Tbh I kinda stopped using it because it lags my game so much because the game has to search through so many files to piece everything together. I've made personal mod packs in the past for myself to fix this issue.

one thing i want to add before you update, maybe if you combine this with the giga mod, you need to reasertch the transdimentional enginneering tech, the one you will need to make the birch world for example, but good luck fixing this mod, your going to need it

woooo, but imagin, birtch world from the gigastructer mod, all planets colonised, a buntch of gate ways from your mod, that would be trillions apon trillions of population, maybe i resical all of the rocky planets and replace them with better artifishal ones, thoe will leave my home world as a rezort cause thats were my species has bit, thoe you wont beable to make it into one if its already a city world. but with acot, i can turn it into a gaia world and make it into a rezort, dam my imagination is running wild now

i love the theme, thoe if the devs made it so with the amount of pops does not lag the game, maybe they can make a game with multi able galaxys in the game so you can become a tier 4 civilisation

man, I miss this mod. OP as heck in late game, but I actually liked the starting gameplay loop to actually get to that point. I can't wait to see this get updated to some form of playable state.

just building the birch world in the gate will give you so much, and there is no cap to it, i feel like the powerful powerful gigastructers should be limited

One of my personal favorite mods. It's so cool becoming, as 1little3 describes, a type 3-4 civilization and reveling in the power it brings you. I do feel it can be a little on the OP side with how I've never seen AI use the gateway back when I used it, and you can just make tens of thousands of resources with just one of the things really quickly, so I agree it should be gated behind an ascension perk, and maybe a chain of techs to boost productivity instead of having it 100% productive from the start, even with the blockers. I can also see use of the situation system as a "logistics manager" for your intergalactic empire.

Either way, like you said now that updates have slowed down you have lots of opportunity to rewrite the mod if you'd still like to do so! It'd be really cool to see this mod up to date, tho again only if you yourself wanna do so as I imagine it'll be a big undertaking

hmm, make this into a assention perk? like i played with it with gigastructers to have the feal of type 3 becoming a type 4 civilization, and when i got to the point where i can build the birch world in the portal world, it was so powerful, and i can build a nother, and a nother, only built 2 times, the theme of this mod is so good, but needs to be balance i say, but just imagin, you built the birch world, you have the entire galaxy concored, you are the emperor, ither your the only empire left or you proclaimed the galactic imperium, you set your eyes on other galaxys to take over, so you make that gate way to take over a nother galaxy, then after you took over that one, all are loyal subjects, then you build a nother gate way and do the same thing again and again, moving to become a tear 5 civilization, will feel awsome when you play with the under one rule origin, one permanent ruler to rule over the galaxy cluster.

There's been a lot of changes since this was first made and looking at it now I am not entirely sure where to go with it. there is going to be a bit of a revaluation period to think about how im going to do this.

this mod is so good with its theme, i love it, but i dk what effects i will get when building a megastructer in the hypergate, you planing to make it to where you know the effects before building it in the next update? no hard feelings, i just love this mod theme, better than spawning in a L cluster type start where you have systems out of the galaxy, 9 out of 10, wish to know the effects of the megastructers before building them in the hyper gate :steamthumbsup:

It works fine, Just some stuff that is buggy.

I've used it on and off for a while now, One of the better mods IMHO Paradox should play around with this idea, Let us start in a 50 star Galaxy and expand it endlessly if we spend the resources to do so. By doing it, You risk inviting Crisis or Fallen Empires into your galaxy.

Would be good for those who don't wanna deal with end-game lag but want a continual supply of species to either purge or enslave.

Generate (X) years of history everytime you open a new one, Will lag game but would pretty much set the game up for never ending content.


Will never happen, But would be a cool DLC.

Is there a way to fix the gateway not having a capitol building that allows for the planetary admin and higher buildings? I would not be surprised if there is a mod conflict on my end, so I am looking more for pointers on how to make it happy even if need to get my own hands dirty.

Can you make a 3.6.1 Legacy version, I downgraded my games so I can play it more smoothly and the Dev added too much interface that was not needed

For the gate theres an industrial district which has artisans and metallurgists for normal empires/empires that use consumer goods. Empires that dont have all alloys.

The habitability is dependent on the deposits, to simulate the randomness it applies a blanket average across the gateway. Ill add something to change/alter it at some point.

Hiya, I've played around with Galaxius for a while now and its become one of my favorite mods when I'm RPing as a higher tier sci-fi empire but there's one thing I'm still confused on and can't figure out myself; how exactly does habitability work for the intergalactic gateway? My primary species has an abysmal 25% but a few others in my empire have 100% and despite trying out various climate preferences I can't raise it any higher on my main guys, which sucks because I'd like to use them to colonize the gateway.
