If you're using tmod, it's probably that.

I'm using tmodloader and the essential well endowed collection but the textures of the vanilla guide are still there, for some reason i can see petra's icon in the map

i've unloaded all of my mods, and also unloaded all resource packs but this one, but the name and dialogue still don't show up. the resource packs folder does show up as empty for both tmodloader and og terraria, so it could be something to do with that perhaps?

if you have packs that effect NPC dialog in anyway, they'll overlap the mod. NPC packs should always be prioritized.

hey, i'm using this with tmodloader, and while the texture for Petra appears, the dialogue and name that would be the guide's are still there. Is there a feasible fix to this issue?

it would be cool for me to make a mod that has both versions of her horns, as most of the work you can already do through the editor, and just have a tail item. Good suggestion, whenever the game has a surge of popularity again for whatever reason I'll definitely consider

The best thing I could do is make the player model the same race and a set of matching clothing. But you highly underestimate how much of a pain in the ass it is to edit player models & NPCs.

I would really love it if there were eventually a sprite with this sort of shape/proportions that could be used for a player character. It would absolutely make my next play of the game better. c_c;

@ T.B.R ST53VEE When you go to the Resource Packs section of the Workshop menu in-game, make sure the Petra pack is higher on the list than anything else that might be changing the guide.
