Hello to all Machine & Robots Expansion fans.

I have picked up maintaining the mod and keeping it up to date, in XVCV's absence. Fixing bugs, and slowly adding new things, like recently I added a Gestalt councilor editor GUI.

I welcome you to subscribe to Machine & Robot Expansion: Continued . Currently compatible with 3.11.*

I will keep it going through The Machine Age and beyond. I feel there is still so much to be done for Machine empires, even with the upcoming expansion, and I hope to do well by XVCV and bring further glory to the mod.

Well same discord just told me how to edit things, so I'll toy around and see if I can fix things. I have a generalist knowledge of scripting, and I know the only files I gotta look into are the leader ones, so maybe I can fix something.

@Xelan Thats just the info I got from the gigastructures discord on what changed form 3.9 to 3.10. I don't actually know how to edit the files otherwise I'd make my own updated mod for this.

@Archmage MC: If you know how to fix stuff that is currently broken you might consider heading over to {LINK REMOVED} since the guy there tries to keep this mod alive, but lacks the experience/know-how for many things. The leader stuff you mentioned looks to be something up that alley.

You have to modify the files. You have to change all instances of Admiral and General to Commander and Govener to.... whatever the new gov leader class type is. same with scientists.

Guys. Seriously. Read some comments below before posting. Read the description. Look at the last updated date. Any of those will tell you that this mod isn't updated to 3.10.

And it won't be updated anytime soon, since the author retired from modding Stellaris

There is an effort to maintain this, but it's severely lacking in modding knowledge, so many things are disabled there. You can find the link in

Archmage, is there a way to turn off leader stuff? I haven't played with it yet. And does this apply to AI's doing it and causing a crash too?

@gwennetts: If you would scroll down a bit you might see that XVCV retired from Stellaris modding. So unless someone has the will, skill and time to take up the mantle, this isn't going to be updated anymore.

this fixes the issues with the mod, near endgame and no errors, no strange glitches, just some values were removed which is what broke the mod it seems. just run this at the same time.

it was actually kinda funny, the trading machine income modifire was applying and stacking every day so instead of having an income of 20 rare resource from rare resource importation at the end of the month, you would have 20 resources a day stacked 30 times for 600 by the end of the month. and it spirals out of control from there causing a memory overflow crash.

Boo, sorry to hear that. Hopefully somebody picks up at least part of the mod. I wonder how hard it would be to salvage just a few parts of it? I mainly picked it up for the world-machines, although it was fun to tinker with the other stuff.
