@ludi Ive always had that problem so I just never buily heavy platforms at all IDK why but it has never worked for me

@maltheal I see that after building heavy gun battery I have empty slot for weapon size X in starbase but i have particle lance aviable and this slot is staying empty. Any idea why?

Atm it seems the At war mods are broken as when I use them I get continues blank pop ups. Could use an update.

Don't know if you are aware of this but the heavy weapons platform of the necroid ships doesn't display properly.

How about Solar Panel Arrays for Non-Machine Empires? The Trade Hubs serve a similar purpose, though sometimes a SPA will be more valid to build when you dont know what else to put there - especially if you got crap like a gigastructure shipyard lying around and additional shipyards just arent really worth it.
Or how about a "Broadcasting Array" - Module that gives you +2 to unity for every Module of this kind, optionally maybe a building that gives you +X (dunno what seems balanced there) Unity for every Colony in a range of this system +2, upgradeable to +3 through a tech maybe (only applicable once per Colony)
For something Combat-like you could do a "Fighter Division/Armada/Fleet"-module that works only on Star Fortress and Citadel and gives you basically double the amount of normal Fighter Hangars in everything.

FWIW, I do not have any texture issues with the spinal mount section (or any other)... so probably a mod conflict

Thanks for keeping the At War mods updated, was sad to see the originals out of date when I started playing again, so it was a nice surprise to see someone is keeping it going! Just wanted to report a quick visual bug:

The heavy defense platform spinal mount section is giving a missing texture error when adding the mega cannon to it (it looks fine on its own when the slot is empty). HOWEVER, it may also be due to a conflict with Sins of the Prophet mod, which I'm also running, since that does have its own textures for stations when using their special ship sets. Not sure if it shows up fine if the Starbase Improvement mod is the only one running or not, but figured it would be worth a mention just in case it was a bug and not a visual compatibility issue between mods.

Just an fyi, I know visual stuff is low priority and it doesn't seem to affect gameplay apart from being funny looking lol thanks again for all your great work!

Everything seems to be working fine except for the heavy platforms not displaying correctly around the starbases. They look like half a disc with a small cube in the middle.

One more thing, it seems better to give ship_engagement_range_mult = 0.50 to the hanger module like BSW 2.3.

Currently, Starbase's battle recognition range is narrow, so even if a lot of hanger modules are attached, it is not used well because strikecraft is not dispatched until the enemy approaches within a certain distance.

In my opinion, rather than incorporating increasing the number of slots, it is better to extend the logic of Heavy Starbase defense modules to other modules and buildings as well (make them 1.5~2 times powerful depends on how the nature of the module/building affects the balance).

Shipyard, Anchorage, Trade Hub, Hyperlane Registrar, Resource Silo, Defense-Grid Supercomputer, Fleet Academy, Listening Post, Naval Logistics Office, Offworld Trading Company will be especially useful.

Solar Panel Network, Hydroponics Bay, Nebula Refinery, Curator Think Tank, and Art College will also be able to take benefit.

It may seem like a somewhat compelling logic, but I think it can be applied to Deep Space Black Site, Target Uplink Computer, Disruption Field Generator, Communications Jammer, Command Center, and Trader Proxy Office.

I'll be intergrating what I can to this one while keeping full compatibility I'll likely make that a separate mod an all in one starbase pack and it would likely need a patch for any starbase changing mods

If you mean the one by DrBlood then yes it will but it's outdated, NSC2 has integrated an updated version of it so you'll want to grab that if you haven't already.
