Hello friend, this mod was one of my favorites because how it combined bot of my must play mods. Annatar recently updated new frontiers, I hope you could look into it and maybe update it, cheers

Sadly the PD-RS:NF Compapatch does not fix the issue I am having with PD's planet Descriptors in Empire creation....

Stellaris has pulled me back every 6 months or so for about 4 years now, so expect I'll be back at some point. Not for a while though. And Wild Space will be my priority when I do, rather than this mod.

I think there's an alternative mod on the workshop doing something like Diverse Frontiers, slightly different approach though. Might want to try that

Hi all, as I think most have figured out. This is not currently up to date. PD and NF hav updated a few times since this was updated. Havent played Stellaris in some months.

is the ice giant in new frontier deleted by this mod? I found all gas giants in solar system switch its picture between normal gas giant and ice giant, which should be distinguished in new frontier. it is immersion breaking!

Yes because of some mod updates, all the planets near my starting point are not very habitable. The highest was 17% habitable, I think.

Same here - using some specific planet makes it so that the race has no habitability preferences - leaving them non habitable for every world out there. Any chance for a fix?

real space new frontiers just got a huge update i think i may be messing with this mod. all habitability choices for PD worlds just disappeared from the species mod screen. and those pops that have those habitability traits already now suffer penalties as the trait does not actually give them anything. this is an ongoing play through which i just returned to, was fine yesterday now its like this

Both RS and PD have Tidally locked worlds, and one of them is causing the other to not show it's planet view art

Annatar just updated "new frontiers" he deleted two planet subtype and added two others, it may be the issue.

It's not about the art changing. There is just black where a picture should be.

I think so. That's a by product of how New Frontiers works. The game only reloads a picture when you go from one planet class to another so if you go from one type of continental world to another the art work won't change. But if you select something else and go back, you'll get the correct art.

is it normal for planet portraits to change if you click off and back on again? I keep seeing a planet swapping between two different continental artworks, as well a desert planets displaying the oasis artwork with graphical glitches

Question: how do Planetary Diversity planets interact with New Frontiers' disaster events? If a planet starts heating up, does its class actually change to a relevant PD/NF planet class?

Hey, so !!_z_pd_engine_overwrite has an issue.

Error log:

[11:15:44][effect_impl.cpp:563]: has_star_flag effect at file: events/!!_z_pd_engine_overwrite.txt line: 35 accepts only yes or no as values

...

[11:15:44][eventmanager.cpp:407]: Corrupt Event Table Entry - random_list in events/!!_z_pd_engine_overwrite.txtline: 40

Once "Corrupt Event Table Entry" starts, none of the rest of the events in the file will work.

The issue is that you have every_planet, but this was deprecated in 3.0. You now need either every_owned_planet or every_galaxy_planet. In this case, every_owned_planet is what you want, I believe. Switching every_planet for every_owned_planet fixed the problem in my testing.

Hmmmmm unless I'm developing Schizophrenia or have been hacked... No update yet. Haven't found time to play or mod Stellaris since around February / March. Definitely coming back. But may take a while.
