I love this mod but hate the sound, could you make a separate version with a different sound?

very cool mod, would like to see a ammo indicator like on the vanilla pistol.

Other people have made the exact gun, I made one more accurate to the Real one.

Hoping you may be responding to these comments, i was curious if you were ever going to release the whole model you used/ made to the public? just curious.

@Femlg Definitely sounds like it's bugged in some way. I would verify game cache first and then try deleting all of your save slots if that doesn't work, though that might prevent you from doing a chapter select (I don't believe so but just fair warning if you try it).

@Skummeh Thanks, Also i've been having a problem lately where my savve files on the chapter would get completely removed. I've gotten up to chap 10 and went a bit through but for some reason now it's just fucked and just removed my saves of that chapter , making me restart at the start

@Femlg the entire save slot you are using is associated with the Addons you have previously selected and that cannot be changed. You will have to start a fresh save slot from the chapter you are at with whatever Addons you intend to use on this playthru.

Question, can I add mods mid game? I've started a new campaign from what chapter I was up to with addons enabeled. Am I able to add new ones mid campaign without needding to redo the chapter over and over?

Serious question here. Why hasn't anyone made the Mandolarian IB-94 Pistol/blaster yet for HLA. It would be my go to pistol for sure. Love that gun and would love to try it out on this platform. Please, somebody make this MOD. Cad Banes LL-30 Blaster would be a nice MOD to check out as well.

and i loved how the reflex sight of your gan is made, sometimes i just want to use the iron sight, but with this is upgrade was impossible, thank you for make a way to use both

i loved this mod youre awesome but i had one problem: i use Valve Index, and sometimes i had to put my hand in weird position to insert the magazine.

and now, i had something saying what i wish it have:

1: i would like to have a visual indicator to show if is in burst mode or in singular shot, sometimes i change and forget what im using

2: i would love if had some visual to see if the magazine in the gun have only one bullet, so we could hold new magazine, but without is cool too because is more realistic

3: i would love if the lambda simbol was in other part of the gun, like in the back, so who uses the gun in left hand and who uses in right hand can see the lambda simbol without moving the gun, and this could be with the item number 1, when in burst mode have 2 or 3 lambda simbols in the back or grip, and in one shot have just one lambda simbol

Means a lot.. Put a lot of effort into it. Doing everything completely from scratch... It makes me happy to see people noticed the effort.

I think you are the only modder for this game that made a gun sight upgrade different than just reusing the vanilla asset or just a fancier version of it. Thanks for the extra effort in literally everything

If I had to give a honest review after playing for around 30 minutes with it, I would say it is great. The reflex sight is a bit disturbing, but not placed in a way that forces you to use it. The model looks very nice and the texture is suuuper good, the little lambda on the right side of the gun is a nice addition too. Sound of the gun is very crisp and I preffer it to the real gun. I have the problem of not being able to collect mags from enemies nor corpses, but you know that already. Over all, this is a super nice mod and I will play only with this gun from now on :)

I'm not a big fan of the reflex sight, or the fact that you can't tell whether you're in burst mode or not. Other than that though, I love this model and use it all the time!

Someone else encountered that bug where upgrading caused it to become invisible like you said, I was never able to recreate it :/

oh, i think it was burst fire upgrade, but one of them does replace the skin when you buy it. the clip is still in a weird place though, it hangs below the gun. if it werent for that, this mod would be fantastic

hhm I don't know what I could do to fix it, i've been away from HLA modding a while and afaik nothing has been updated on hla's end for a while.

doesnt work anymore, only changes the sounds and puts the clip in a wierd spot

Ty, My biggest issue with the In game pistol is the in ability to go back to irons

i like this one better than the other one because the reflex sight is actually useable and it doesnt replace the ironsights because its off to the side.

I find it really hard to tell how many pullets are in the mag, otherwise a great skin

your welcome, i was saying that because your pistol got overshadowed by the other mod, that way if you did a diffrent gun you would not be overshadowed.

I would love to, be given the way weapons all reload and act very uniquely It might be impossible to stay far from their Original design. Thanks for the support tho

This is probably the best gun mod on the workshop that I've seen. I'm planning on keeping it enabled for basically all of my future play since it's even better than the default Pistol. I can only see two things to suggest. First, I love how clean it looks without the ammo counter, but it would be cool if it was added with upgrades. Say, adding the bullet reservoir adds both ammo counters to the gun. Also some visual indicator for what mode you are in for burst fire would be great.

I just found rotating the gun 45 degrees is a small price to pay for the optional use. as far as chrome being dark, I can't really change that, that's how shiny metal looks in source 2

So, i've tested the gun in-game, and for some reason the silver parts look very dark in dark enviroments, unusally dark even, and the sights, while they look absolutely fantastic, are very difficult to shoot through, as a right handed user.

Now THAT, is what i call a scope!

I think I've done it, I hope everyone likes the new aesthetic as much as I do, I'll post the update this week for sure.

Of course, the Iron sights will be fully visible and the sight will be at 45 degrees

@SoggyMicrowaveNugget 45-degree angle mounts sound like a good idea, but it might be difficult to get used to lining it up in VR, so it shouldn't replace the normal sight entirely, instead being an addition to it. The size of the sight works well right now, and looks great in proportion to the gun itself, although I think the border of it should be a bit thinner to help keep the focus on the targeting itself. Excited to see the update when it's finished! Great work!
