I really missed having something like this from my old Star Fleet Battles days. The Fleet Repair Dock was always an interesting structure and when implemented into Federation & Empire served a strategic purpose of keeping your fleets in top condition by having the FRD just a system or two behind the main battle area. Thanks for this ship, it really should have been in the base game long before the Juggernaut.

然而,我個人不太喜歡太空站(starbase)的設計,只是個人取向(覺得太空站的體積很難容納一個艦艇生產線/船塢)。

想請問我應該怎樣迫使mod 可以自動fallback應用哺乳物種(mammalian_01)的太空站設計?

Unfortunately, this is conflicting. If you want a ship be able to fleets with other ships, then you must drop the shipyard function

This is awesome. I have needed this for so long to support expeditions! My only hang up with this is that you can't combine Mobile Shipyards with each other; they seem to be treated like Juggernauts or Colossi and can't be in fleets with other ships - I don't know if this a compatibility issue with other mods; if the Mobile Shipyard is supposed to be able to be merged together with like units or with other fleets, please let me know. If it's not a mod conflict, it would be cool to be able to make a fleet of multiple Mobile Shipyards if only for the sake of shortening my Fleet outliner. That all said, thank you for this awesome add-on to the already amazing United Fleet!

My mobile shipyard (and Juggernaut too) has no FTL Drive option when in the ship designer, defeating the purpose of playing with this mod. It's a great idea and it seems to work for others =) Unsure why it wouldn't work in my case.

i think we missunderstand each other. I mentioned mega structtures as an example for their stages/levels/tiers within which they adapet step by step increasing capabilities.
The idear is to not have it all at once, as that in the beginning could be seen as too strong, but gradually upgrade the mobile shipyard. Paying for each upgrade tier seperatly.

I'm sorry no, I hope I'm not wrong in my understanding.
If you want to implement a stage where you can only build some ships in vanilla, then you have to copy their code and add build restrictions, that's why I said the vanilla code needs to be changed, it would reduce compatibility.
Also this is just a mobile shipyard mod, I don't know why it need to add new megastructures, if you are talking about making ships and megastructures interchangeable, this is a viable option and I have done it in other mods, but I don't really intend to achieve such an effect in this mod.

love the idear of a mobile shipyard with no combat power.

Not sure if possible, but maybe as an idear to build on this concept you could integrate several construction stages like with megastructures have. With each stage it could become more capable like f.e.
Stage 1. 2 shipyards, only corvetts
Stage 2 4 shipyards, slightly faster producing, additionally destroyers and frigates can be built
Stage 3 6 shipyards, noticbly faster producing, additonally cruisers can be built
Stage 4 8 ..., + battleships
Stage 5 10 ... + titans
Stage 6 12 ... + jugernauts and planetdestroyers
Stage 7 14 shipyards, +1 more mobile shipyard

The stages would become available with the respective ship technologies

the nano repair robot component it gets doesnt do very much, since it cant be merged into other military fleets, so it can only repair itself
