Aye the primitive worlds are bugged when I survey them they immediately get unsurveyed.

if you wanna use this mod you should also use primitive worlds adjustments https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2317220540 which while not updated apparently still works

hello! this mod ROCKS! Primitives always felt so boring before

however, there is a bug! So y'know how some of the galactic community (level 3 unchained knowledge and level 3 galactic commerce) resolutions provide a boost to observation posts? this mod renders them completely ineffective~!
It's not a game breaking issue, but its definitely annoying

So this is the only mod I have that affects Primitives and im pretty sure it isnt base game. But I found a primitive civilization, they go on as normal. However, on their planet they also have....502 pre-sapient vampires who only like machine worlds. When trying to uplift them after taking the planet as my own, the game crashes, if i pause / cancel the uplift the game continues on as normal and crashes if its completed when I re-enable it. Help?

Hello @Violent Beetle, you made a great mod and I'm playing it often. For multiplayer and centralised localisation, I have started a private merged-mod project. Included are theme related mods, so players get more variability and are able to load by one click. Now the positive demand seems growing beyond private quarters and it might be a good idea to change it into an official released mod. Therefore I'd like to ask your permission to have your mod included into the mod collection . I've sent you a friend invite and with your permission granted, I'd like to name you as co-author and probably start some co-working. Thank you!

I think the machine empire primitives have a broken 'ascension' part where a normal empire would go from early-space-age to new empire.

i think i might be having a bug? every machine empire has "protointelligence" in the name and the civics are always budding -self awareness and discovering purpose, both civics do nothing, they also have the mechanist origin. these arent primitives theyre whole empires, still havent encountered and machine primitives yet, maybe i messed up the load order or something??

So found a bit of an annoying bug, I build an observation post on a habitat primitive world and the habitat just despawned.

Hunter - I believe Violent Beetle has noted they're on a kind of hiatus at the moment due to changes in the game / need to patch out bugs - correct me if I'm wrong. 2.8's main issue may be necroids not showing up, if applicable.

Gods & Guardians had a clash *I believe* (I stand to be corrected) with this mod, as do mods that change say, the way primitive interactions work (odds).

I played your other mod, the deprecated version of this one, and found an annoying bug. I turned primitives to max in galaxy options to see how they will be. It resulted in almost every primitive being machines. That can't be right. Like 5% weren't machines and they should be a rare thing to find in a galaxy. At the moment I'm not using it.

Did you fixed it? Or did you know it to begin with?

It's a minor thing, but the new observation missions for hives and machines don't benefit from the galactic resolutions, like the standard missions do.

I've been making a mod to adjust some things from this one, and I think I've seen a bug:

Various events are restricted to only trigger when "years_passed = 25". That should probably be "years_passed > 25"; as is those events can only trigger in 2225, not in any other year.

Pretty sure I didn't misclick, the message looked correct for giving them the system. Then there was a delay and they turned into Undesirables on an otherwise-empty planet.

Anyway got another bug for you: twice now when I uplift a Voidbound habitat, the first month the habitat has one Habitation module and one Research module. At the end of the first month, the Research module disappears and I've got 3 homeless pops. Presumably there is a monthly check to ensure valid districts and the Research district fails it. It would be nice to get a Leisure or Trade district instead, if the Research is just going to evaporate.

A primitive hive achieved FTL spaceflight while I owned the system (independently, not uplifted). I chose the option which usually results in a free system ("It's only just..." or something), but instead of becoming free, they became owned by me, and the hive citizens all became Undesirables set for execution.

An earlier hive got Uplifted and became a Protectorate (which seems like correct behavior).

I have patched away a few issues such as incorrect job distribution on tomb worlds and broken habitat entities.

There's a mysterious country I was told spawns from my mod, I have no idea what could it be.

I always look forward to more primitives content. Hopefully a compat patch for G&G will be made by one of you two at some point.

It's one of the areas of Stellaris I've always wanted to be able to interact with more, pre-space species have so much potential for remarkable flavor that I wish was more capitalized on.

This mod adds new types of primitives, and as far as I'm aware, it's not compatible with Gods and Guardians because Gods and Guardians do not filter their missions to account for it.

Probably not. Most likely G&G will cause extra options to appear. I used to have a compat patch, but I haven't been updating it in a while. I'll look into it eventually.
