Is it possible to add a damage multiplier for explosions?

I found the following problem:
With the mod active, tasks disappear on the station.
Primary.Michael 18 dec, 2024 @ 3:59
Needs update - currently it is crashing the game.

Hello we Love you Mod its used on the Modded PvE/ P Server Space Engineers DE and it would be wonderfull if we get more Shapes like 1*2 and a lot more:)
Arling 6 mar, 2024 @ 5:46
Looks really great! Thank you for this mod!
titanius anglesmith 4 sep, 2023 @ 15:27
More shapes yessssssssssssssss
Raynor 1 aug, 2023 @ 2:50
Any chance of adding more shapes?

Love this mod 😍

Sorry for my long missing. I was really disappointed about game updates. Developers hate modders. They do nothing for bug fix.
If someone wants to use my mod for creating new mods. You can do it!

@Dalten I did make a rebalanced version so that it's basically identical to heavy armor in protection, but much more lightweight, and of course, still retaining the weaknesses of how it can be placed.
titanius anglesmith 21 dec, 2022 @ 21:31
very nice mod i was wondering can you make. Slope 2x1x1. Slope 2x1x1 Tip. Armor Corner 2x1x1. Corner 2x1x1 Tip. parts ?
titanius anglesmith 14 dec, 2022 @ 12:20
can we get more slope parts and so on ?
Dalten 18 nov, 2022 @ 11:06
good quality mods, assets, separate furnace, etc. the issue I have with this and the armored glass is I feel the integrity values provided by these blocks are way out of proportion for their material costs, compared to the integrity and costs of vanilla heavy armor plate and block. from a survival balancing perspective, I don't think these are easy to integrate. if the integrity values were more down-to-earth, 10/10.
Ssempa 2 sep, 2022 @ 4:47
Good mod.

One thing I'm noticing is that half the time, projectiles simply phase through the ceramic armor and damages everything behind it but not the ceramic armor itself.

Perhaps this is a Space Engineers bug that's unrelated to this mod but I thought I'd let you know.
DrSloth 29 apr, 2022 @ 11:54
dude your work is A ONE man no errors or anything thank you for being awesome
kenzo680 9 mar, 2022 @ 5:56
that could be useful as a composite armor

its good to see mods last this long, keep up the good work... All right!?
Cosmonautical_Alex 5 feb, 2022 @ 0:15
This ceramic armor is great against the new railguns! It's disproportionately good compared to rockets and whatnot. Not that that's a bad thing.
All right!  [skapare] 16 dec, 2021 @ 13:02
Mod is updated:
components can be founded in trade station.
DEeM0N 23 nov, 2021 @ 3:19
Just an idea: maybe it's worth making another similar mod, but with super-heavy armor, for use on heavy rovers and tanks? So
that it is several times heavier, but also stronger than heavy armor.
For example, it can be "uranium armor", in reality there is an armor made of depleted uranium.... :)))
All right!  [skapare] 9 nov, 2021 @ 13:58
Thanks. Later
mr_brenni 9 nov, 2021 @ 11:45
Awesome mod! Can you consider to make some more shapes?

Thank you for making this mod!!! Love it:steamthumbsup:

Real-world ceramics tend to have the following qualities:
1. They are a very light material compared to steels.
2. They are hard, meaning they shatter or deform incoming projectiles effectively.
3. They are heat resistant.
4. They are brittle.

So, ceramic armor is light and very good at stopping both kinetic and energy weapons. However, ceramic armor is not as durable as metal armor, and cannot achieve the same multi-hit rating.

Unfortunately, Space Engineers doesn't have a way to model penetration without block destruction.

Mod was update::
- Localization
- Block Component Settings
- Ceramic Component Recipes Settings

Now you can change blocks blueprint for your server :selike:
Lord Raso 30 jul, 2021 @ 12:00
PSPSoldier534's comment gave me an idea! If you do get this into WeaponCore it should have super high resistance to energy weapons! Real world ceramics are often used for their heat resistance properties. Maybe, (if it's even possible) they would be immune to being deformed by energy damage or just flat our highly resistant? Of course the the flip side would mean they would have to be really weak to ballistics, probably.

@Syhkane
Can you make the screenshot?
All right!  [skapare] 27 jul, 2021 @ 3:10
@PSPSoldier534
I'll try to add support of the weapon core.

@masterfluffypants54
Just armored
masterfluffypants54 24 jul, 2021 @ 13:36
@all right! Are they heatshielded or armored?
PSPSoldier534 24 jul, 2021 @ 9:58
Would you happen to know how these blocks interact with the damage modifiers built into weaponcore? Are they classified as light armor, heavy armor, or nonarmor?
All right!  [skapare] 20 jul, 2021 @ 23:27
OK. I'll fix it.
Syhkane 20 jul, 2021 @ 15:13
They connect to the vanilla armor blocks, but they don't connect to themselves. I was hoping to build detachable Shield Walls with these, I have a work around right now using decoration lights to connec tthem.
Syhkane 20 jul, 2021 @ 15:11
The corner sides.

@masterfluffypants54
I made Armored Windows
masterfluffypants54 20 jul, 2021 @ 13:37
Any chance of ceramic windows?
All right!  [skapare] 19 jul, 2021 @ 23:35
Do you told about "Ceramic Armor Flat"?
Syhkane 19 jul, 2021 @ 16:32
Is there a way to fix the mounting points on the armor sides? They don't actually "connect" to the other armor pieces. and it'd be nice to make lightweight extended shields out of them.
Syhkane 19 jul, 2021 @ 16:30
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite mods, it's simple. It's pretty, it looks like the decoy blocks which I pair them with often. And it makes for great landing armor underneath ships or at crashpoints on rovers.
All right!  [skapare] 18 jul, 2021 @ 23:30
We can't add block with deform(
So we have what we have.
Syhkane 18 jul, 2021 @ 9:21
@Sny
Pottery may not deform but actual mechanical ceramics like Silicon Carbide do.
Armor and heat panels on modern vehicles are not made out of silt sand and water.
Sny 9 jul, 2021 @ 11:02
Interesting...
Realistically speaking, ceramic doesn't deform...

Deformation damage in SE is a bit over the top, so the extra integrity is somewhat justified to counter it. But making Ceramic armor have a strong deformation resistance and maybe half the resistance of Heavy armor might put it in that sweet spot between blast doors (no deformation, no resistance, high integrity) and heavy armor (low deformation, high resistance, high integrity).

Just my random thoughts... not sure I even got that right...
All right!  [skapare] 4 jun, 2021 @ 0:41
All blocks with deformation have x8 to durability. So if you remove deformation from the heavy armor block it will be less durable.
All right!  [skapare] 3 jun, 2021 @ 10:45
@Sny
About balance:
Heavy Armor: can take ≈280 rocket, 3300 kg
Caramic Armor: can take ≈90 rocket, 1100 kg
They have the same balance surability\weight.

@anzellott
Not soon(

@Anarch Cassius
Thanks
All right!  [skapare] 1 jun, 2021 @ 0:01
I will fix it in 2-4 days
Aryemis 31 maj, 2021 @ 20:35
Heya, do you have an ETA on the integrity fix ?
I want to get it added to the server I play on, but until integrity is back to a reasonable amount that's not really an option as it would upset the balance alot.
anzellott 29 maj, 2021 @ 7:20
Could You Make Ones That Are 22.5 Degree Sloped? And Also Some Shaped To Cover Up Gaps That Often Occur?
Anarch Cassius 27 maj, 2021 @ 12:44
Thanks! They look really cool and they offer an interesting design option. I also really like how it works with the furnace and armor glass to create the option of more specialized/focused industrial plants.
