A game-changing asset. Great for connecting bikers between bike highways and close to their destination on connector roads.

Hey, i know you may not see this, but is it theoretically possible to make a tram road like that? Two lane/two way road on one side and tram tracks on the other?

Could you make this with trees on the sidewalks and just one car lane? Would be nice for narrow neighborhood streets converted from two lanes down to one plus a bike lane.

Hi @Chamëleon, I had a look and it seems that the flickering is due to a glitch of the game itself (I've used the same road and pavement map of vanilla roads) and apparently you just have to save and restart the game (I hadn't noticed the flickering until you told me).

This "vanilla" version actually uses the same _r and lod_r map for every segment in the same elevation, so in theory Loading Screen Mod should load them as a single item (I'm not entirely sure how the Loading Screen Mod works to be honest). Let me know if you still have any issue.
Thanks 😇

Thank you for your explanation - i agree that it is good to have all elevations - please keep this also for the red version. I think you have created a complete own texture, or? If yes, is it optimized in general and in ideal to be shared for all your roads you plan to supoort Loading Screen Mod and save a lot of RAM?

Additionally i found a flickering pavement issue - maybe you can solve this?

Hi @Chamëleon , thanks for your feedback. The main reason why this street is 28.5MB is because it requires a lot of segments due to its asymmetrical nature. The ground level requires 7 segments (main, bus left, bus right, bus both forward, bus both backward, switch lane forward and switch lane backward), 3 segments for the elevated and bridge and 2 segments for the slope, for a total of 15 segments and 4 nodes times 2 for the LODs. I was aware of this problem so I initially planned to only do a ground version but I then decided to give a complete asset.
I'm currently working on a red bike lane version as suggested by @aku, so what I can do is to publish it on the ground level only. This will reduce the file size but it will give us the opportunity to place bus stops at the same time.
I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any idea and thanks again for your positive comments!

Hi @ Blue Hawk. Good idea. I like it. But the file size is quite large... if i compare to many other roads made by clus, delta 5-1 or others... any way you may reduce the file size?

@Lukas Yes, I'm actually about to publish one with trees and grass and one-way. I'm glad you like it ;-)

@Aku I could do a Dutch version! You mean with red bike lanes or did you have something else in mind?

@Kenneth Thanks! I'm glad you like it !!!

Do you plan on doing an one-way version of this? It's a pretty nice road! Thank you for sharing. :Kolobok:

I love it!! Is there a chance of us getting a red dutch version? :o

@jeremy.thunder Thanks, I'm an avid biker myself and I always try to build a good cycling infrastructure in my city. I hope your citizens in Vogelstad will love it too!!!

Fantastic! Always love to see more bike infrastructure options on the workshop!
