Small map with great intense battle to start! Loved when they blew the wall! Had to resort to walkthough to figure out what to do with the disk. Shoulda a disk drive in that room, but all good. Nice job.

I really don't know why people are complaining about the opening scene. The whole experience was a breeze and amazing.
Highly recommend a cool and short map.

The opening scene tested my patience and skills, but I persisted and got past it. I enjoyed the map/mod very much. Thank you for the work you must have put into this.

Great return design,few fixes to the AI (one of combine suppressors ran into my cover,idk what he was planning to do) and minor fixes to the geometry (door frames and walls aren't aligned)

Despite non game breaking bugs,I enjoyed it :steamthumbsup:

A rough start for the first fight, but a very fun map to play through! A good balance of scavenging and fighting.
The applause at the end was a nice touch.

Performance issues and a few bugs aside, this is a great concept and map. Sadly, if VIS wasn't well considered when the map was created, there likely isn't much that can be done to improve it. I made a playthru video here: https://youtu.be/05BMJrv9ii0

Good map, though my first play through was pretty hopeless until I spent a few more lives scouting around to realize there were supplies around the courtyard to help me past the first two waves of combine.

One bug I've been having: the laser sight we start out with keeps disappearing on me between some save game loads.

I too was confused about the disc when in the wrist pocket. I thought I must have dropped the disc somewhere, retracing my steps and loading an older save. Then, getting the disc again, I noticed that when I put it in a pocket--it appeared as a health injector.

The only thing was the icon of the disk in my glove storage (it confused the hell out of me and I loaded back :D) ...maybe put there icon of something you didnt interact with in the map? Like hlvr_battery

i tried to inject the disk for health during a battle, it did'int work.

i love this style of gameplay, where you unlock doors and get keycards ect all in a small area

Thanks for the report of losing the disk. I have now added a filter for the disk and keycards to respawn them if they fall out of the world. This will be released in version 1.3 coming soon.

Brilliant level design and map feel. Bravo! The beginning fight was intense and pretty challenging, but after that point it got easier. The environment looked very nice, the apartment really felt like a makeshift combine outpost, and some of the things that you did with shotgunners was just ingenious. I also was blown away by the use of the citizens. This map was the first time I'd seen them used in any way except for corpses, and how you arranged them added a special touch to the level. The only gripe I have is that when I dropped the intelligence disk at the bottom of the stairwell, it just phased out of existence. Overall, a very inventive and fun level, and I hope to see more levels with the same amount of creativity and polish.

You have some great ideas. The fact that you've created one big event around one condensed location is telling me that you have some great potential. Everything feels right. I would love to see more of that because you also put a lot of details on the map and that feels like you want to explore even more.
