@UltraEarth They should! The launcher can mess up sometimes with mods not showing up, try opening the launcher, unsubscribing from the mods, and then resubscribing

Are the 3 mods still working? im suscribed to the 3 and only this one shows up in the launcher...

Hey guys, I updated the mod with some new songs to coincide with the release of Vol. 3! So even if you aren't subscribed to the other two volumes, you still get some new tracks to listen to :D

A lot of cool tunes in this Vol II. This is part of my permanent collection. So thank you for the update!

Updated the checksum for the new patch today + fixed the snap crackle pop issue (thank you @Bullborn!)

I had the same issue, unfortunately you'll need to do unsub-resub to all the mods you currently are because it's affects all of them if you were subscribed to them before 1.8/1.8.1

@ScarStitchez They work! The way music works in Stellaris hasn't changed since maybe 1.4 or 1.5, so even though I haven't updated the version number, it'll always be compatible. Unfortunately though, with 1.8 something got messed up on launcher-side, so you need to unsubscribe, delete the "mods" folder in your documents/Paradox/Stellaris folder, as well as I believe the "game_data", launcherv2_sqlite" and "mods_data" .JSONs in that folder. Next time you load up your game, it will refresh your mods list and it should work properly!

Are these mods not working in the current version of Stellaris or am I doing something wrong. I have them in my modlist and checked to run in my current game yet the songs do not seem to appear in the player. Only the default music. It could just be me as I havent played Stellaris in a couple of years and decided to redownload it and noticed so much has changed.

You mean you don't blast Eiffel 65 - Another Race every minute of every game?!

Concerning the clicking sounds in some songs Inawordyes, It's not too much of a problem to me, if anything I love those clicking sounds even if they're a glitch caused by the game/files. Or at least don't have a problem.

Are you able to add Epic Mountain to one of your mods?
Neverminder 24 May, 2020 @ 12:12pm
hey man no complaints,i was using at least 6+ different music mods BEFORE this...
still am
Inawordyes  [author] 24 May, 2020 @ 11:34am
There's still rn probably enough music that SAM has uploaded since the most-recent track that I listened to that I could fill a 160-track Vol. 3 right this minute, but I figure if I will wait until maybe the next major update at the earliest before I bring about a Vol. 3
Inawordyes  [author] 24 May, 2020 @ 11:33am
@Sorypsi There's a lot of good music to add! And to add to the below comment, I probably could have added them together but wanted a little more modularity because some people may want music but not have that much space to dedicate to an (ultimately) inconsequential and optional music mod. There's 360 tracks (at present) between both of these, which is about 5GBs worth of music. 2.5GBs each is still a bit, but I figured dividing that in two would at least help somewhat.

@Anarcho Kitty Thanks! I told myself "I'm gonna finally add new music to this" and I realized as I was going through "... wow, there's a lot of SAM videos I haven't seen", and I ended up with over the amount of the original mod by the time I stopped the first night I did it, so I was like "time for a sequel mod then!"

@Spreadwheat I haven't had time to actually boot up the game recently haha. I did listen to the files outside of the game and there's definitely a clicking sound in Rise (Snowfall Remix), but it's actually part of the ambient background of the song. Maia Nebula and Lonely Pulsar may just be a case where they're a little too loud and clipping in parts, but I searched and as far as I know I have the highest-quality versions already so I'm not sure how much I can do other than just remove them entirely and replace with other tracks if they're too much of an issue in that way
Neverminder 22 May, 2020 @ 8:18pm
boy, this and vol. 1 might be the biggest single mod file size for one series on steam
S7 18 May, 2020 @ 8:50am
So glad to see more of this. I loved the track selection from the first one :)
pinkguy 16 May, 2020 @ 1:08pm
Ok, I'll inform you the ones I find. But have you tested them in your game to see if is it really a issue? Maybe it's just on my end, so you wouldn't have to replace anything. Thanks again!
Inawordyes  [author] 16 May, 2020 @ 10:55am
@Spreadwheat I'll prioritize those ones then, let me know if you find any others and I can check them out as well. At worst, I'll just have to replace the music track with one that doesn't tick, which hopefully isn't too much of a hassle!
Kitten Food 16 May, 2020 @ 10:03am
Thanks! I love SpaceAmbient on YouTube and this is the best music pack for Stellaris, fits with perfection!
LokiCharms 15 May, 2020 @ 5:07pm
Monke Man,
Steam issue. Should have been resolved with the 5/14 update.
pinkguy 14 May, 2020 @ 5:45pm
I obviously didn't hear them all yet, but Maia Nebula, Lonely Pulsar, Rise (Snowfall Remix) are some of the songs with the problem described. Most of the songs works fine, and it's strange since I never had any problems with sound like this on my pc before. In the meantime I'm just unticking the songs in the music player with this "bug". Nonetheless, this music packs are great! Thanks for making and expanding them.
Inawordyes  [author] 14 May, 2020 @ 5:24pm
@Monke Man Unfortunately I don't know how much help I can be on a technical level when it comes to downloading Stellaris Mods. Have you tried unsubscribing and resubscribing? Or deleting the modregistry.json file in your documents and seeing if that helps?
Big McLargeHuge 14 May, 2020 @ 2:17pm
This mod seems to be stuck on "downloading" for some reason, do you know of a way to fix it by any chance? love the first volume btw
Inawordyes  [author] 13 May, 2020 @ 11:25am
@Spreadwheat I can check it out, do you know which songs in particular are giving you trouble?
pinkguy 13 May, 2020 @ 9:08am
I don't know if it is just for me but some of the songs has a static tick of some kind that keeps ticking through all the song, and it's very annoying to hear.
Inawordyes  [author] 12 May, 2020 @ 3:32pm
After a long, drawn-out battle with the Paradox Launcher, it's released! Enjoy everybody!
