Could you make an asset of the Elbphilharmonie from Hamburg. This is definitely a design classic...
Hyronymus 2 Jun, 2020 @ 9:15am
OMG, you actually modelled Falling Water for Cities: Skylines. This is probably the best design by Frank Lloyd Wright, thanks for making my cities a better place ;).

Wright House, all your aristocratic houses and the Monte Carlo pack are absolutely WONDERFUL !! ...probably you are the only one here who might create the Palais Bulles by the architect Antti Lovag in Théoule-sur-Mer, near Cannes, France...THANK YOU !!!!!

@Ciar Aon The animations in this asset don't require mods to work however the house must be connected to a network and have electricity.
Madisonian 18 May, 2020 @ 3:45pm
Probably a mod conflict but the waterfalls/water are not animated for me, even though the separate animated waterfalls assets are working fine in-game.

I will check tonight and revert back to you.

@Macwelshman. Thank you.
The other path should be /.steam⁩/steamapps⁩/workshop⁩/content⁩/⁨255710/2089074220/

at least thats where mine was (if my memory serves me correct).

and I guess if the /.local/Colossal Order/Cities_Skylines/ does not have a /MoveItExports-folder, I just have to create it (because I was looking there but just couldn't find a folder and was too afraid to create one).
Macwelshman  [author] 15 May, 2020 @ 2:35am
@Henry the Horse I’ve added the path to the description above. I’m still trying to find out the path to the ‘contents’ folder. I’ll add it when I find out.
Macwelshman  [author] 15 May, 2020 @ 1:56am
@Lukeandsilver Possibly. I did consider creating it initially but, to be honest, I couldn’t be bothered as the rest was such a challenge.
Lukeandsilver 14 May, 2020 @ 8:24pm
Will there be a guest house coming soon?
Henry the Horse 14 May, 2020 @ 12:12pm
Probably a stupid question: Where do I find the path to the folder to paste in the export xml file on linux? I dont find the /moveit/export folder...

@internetfamousdog I’m glad you like it. I’m now working on the Guggenheim New York so that should make you happy.

absolutely unbelievable work. I've been dreaming of having some of Frank Lloyd Wright's buildings in C:S and I couldn't possibly be more excited about this. Just out of curiosity, have you ever checked out his Price Tower in Bartlesville, OK? It's his only skyscraper and I've been geeking out about it since I was a little kid and my urban planner grandfather showed me an architectural model of it that he and one of his grad students built.

but seriously, fantastic work bringing such a classic of American architecture to this game.

Perfect, needed a personal home in my cities. Bravo work.

@farr.vince.gift-drop.com I used the 12m plain version of my Rocky Mountain network rivers. It took a lot of fiddling and moving with move it. The top section ends just before the house and the lower section begins just after. I lowered the 3 terrain flatteners on the house river until water from the top flowed under the house and into the lower river. The junctions between house and river need prop rocks to hide the joins. To stop water leaking at the front I added another flattener and raised the land in front a little. It's just a case of trial & error.
farr.vince 10 May, 2020 @ 10:21am
How you made the rivver before and after the house?

I'm a massive fan of your work but this is on a different level. An absolute masterpiece! Would love to see a few Charles Rennie Mackintosh buildings in game such as "Hill House" or the "Glasgow School of Art"

@supremecpe Thanks! "Kentuck Knob". Now that's a fantastic name. Is that funny in the US or is it just in the UK?
pdelmo 8 May, 2020 @ 4:04pm
wowzo
Bungalow Man 8 May, 2020 @ 3:58pm
This is amazing, thank you for this. I always wondered why there wasn't really much FLW stuff in the workshop, but I never expected to see Falling Water due to the complexity of the lot. It's actually about an hour from where I live, and I have been able to see it in person. The lesser known Kentuck Knob is nearby, and also a beautiful house. Many great FLW buildings around Oak Park, IL too.
Macwelshman  [author] 8 May, 2020 @ 3:52pm
@sam.lieu.t.e Are you referring to the actual house or (I hope) the asset?
Macwelshman  [author] 8 May, 2020 @ 3:24pm
@Trestyr And now you can walk around it! Enjoy.
Trestyr 8 May, 2020 @ 2:37pm
Amazing. One of the world's most famous architectural masterpiece for private living.
TheMiniMan1 8 May, 2020 @ 2:29pm
Beautiful! I'd love to see more early modern buildings, like Taliesin West, or the Farnsworth House
Bydandii 8 May, 2020 @ 2:01pm
Dude!
And my current city has just the spot for it.
