Best part is that it's not even Vanilla, I reused the Coconut Ice Cream [starbounder.org] sprite since it was the closest thing I could find in SB's files.

how about a mod where you can press Tab and you find the items and it speerates vanilla and modded items, in 2 different categorys. and compatible with a cheats mod to get the items without materials, should be compatible with that one i`m talking about.

unless this feature is already in this mod, .;.

Update for whoever still want a vanilla tab for handcrafting:
I figured out and made a mod that makes Many Tabs work with handcrafting. It has a built-in vanilla tab.

Alright that seemed to fix it on my end, thanks mate.

I'm going to remove a redundant check for the tab, hopefully it shows up for you.

if it doesn't, then I think some mod might be changing something it shouldn't, not sure exactly what tho.

The tabs are also in the middle for me, so that mod seems to work somewhat correctly.
My mod looks like is partially working, its successfully moving the recipes out of the main tab and into this mod's tab, but something is disrupting/deleting the tab.

It seems as if, for me, both this mod AND that mod are not doing what they're suppose to. The tabs are in the middle of the screen, and on top of that, your mod's tab doesn't appear, meaning it just isn't being added to the menu for me.

For the second question, yes, all the recipes show up. Though, interestingly, they only appear if I have no tab selected at all, but will dissapear if I select the main and only tab there. If I click it again it will toggle off and the vanilla stations will appear again.

For the first issue then it has something to do with Many Tabs being disrupted somehow (or some mod requires something extra that I didn't include).

For the last issue, it probably has to do with the somewhat janky method I came up to get the recipes out of the main tab (main tab lists everything tagged with "all", to remove stuff from it I ended up replacing that tag with "vanilla" which the second tab lists)

There's also a test operation in every recipe patch file that stops the process if some other mod edits/removes the "all" tag.

I use that mod, and it works perfectly fine for me.
When you say that it doesn't work, does the tab show up?
And if it doesn't, are the recipes still in the normal tab?
Or are both tabs there but the second one is empty/missing recipes?

Interestingly, this mod appears to not work on my end. Is it perhaps incompatible with https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1969427709

I usually just keep mine on the ship. You're right, though. For in-the-field work, it wouldn't be much help.

I'll have to think about that, I did some tests and moving stuff out doesn't really help reduce the clutter, infact it causes more problems because you'll have to carry the inventors table 24/7 and you'll need to place and break it every time you need to craft something.

Oh, and one work-around might be to simply add a handcrafting tab to the inventor's table. Or a handcrafting table, if that's not possible.

Starbound is kind of ridiculous, no? We need mods to hide our mods.

You are the hero that Starbound has needed. I have dreaded opening the inventor's table and handcrafting menus for ages. Now I only have to fear the latter, and I hardly ever use that past the first hour anyway.

Ah ok. So mod that you base on, has limitation that didn't let do it. Well it happens. But still having it for crafting table is fantastic
Anter583  [author] 18 Apr, 2020 @ 7:19am
Unfortunately I can't do hand crafting.
Not only does many tabs not support it , but It also shares the same config file with other crafting stations.
If I knew how to work around this , I would have done Hand crafting too.

A mod that didn't know that I needed it, until now. I love this. Definitely over cluttered crafting table (and their updated versions) is a nightmare when you have heavy modded setup.

Can I request now a mod, that will add vanilla tab, but for in hand crafting (by default under C key)?

Because it is also over cluttered (with mods) and is hard to find basic vanilla things like planks, torches, wooden platforms etc.
