Their mod is not really any of my business, but you can ask them to make this change. I'm not sure of that mod gets updated nowadays, but it could be worth a try.

I wish this also fixed the Pandora's Box Mother Poptop recolors as well.

Same here. It's a real shame how many small mistakes the developers have made, but at least they also made some pretty good variations to go along with the lazy palette-changed ones.

I believe that the dev team for vanilla starbound was so focused on making the variations that they neglected to look over them to see if they got all sprite colors correct. It unfortunately happens. Honestly I play with mods simply because most of them enhance gameplay I have found that after playing vanilla starbound for a long time that mods are fun when you've replayed the game a lot like I have.

Not to mention how I get an actual thrill from playing a spirited game of "Crash the Program" where I find out which mods are not compatible. 500+ mods and going strong! I know I'm a little bit of a freak :)

I know people get salty about how "If you need mods to play a game, it's a bad game". But I don't care. I love it all!

At this point the only reason I still play it is because of the incredible mods. Same with Skyrim. And probably a few other games.

Vanilla Starbound sucks, no questions

Exactly. It took little to no effort. It's just a damn shame that all these amazing concepts went into THIS game...

They clearly used a select by color tool and changed all of the colors without even looking at the sprite before they put it in game. Probably took them two minutes.

I like how Chucklefish is pulling a Bethesda and not actually fixing their sprites or mechanics. The game has been out for 4 years and still does not run at a stable FPS. I can't even describe how many sprite fixes I have downloaded because they have never fixed them. Honestly amazing how they took such cool concepts and ran them into the ground with a poor vanilla experience.

Yeah, maybe... the only place I ever see a normal one spawn is the Poptop nest on Lush worlds down in the Core fragment mines

You might be more likely to find them as part of a "kill this monster" kind of quest on a higher tier planet.

Huh, I have been to jungle worlds plenty of times and I haven't seen a single one spawn

Adult poptops rarely spawn in jungles, and are rarelly spawned as albino.

I'll be honest, I didn't even know adult albino poptops existed! Where can you find them?
