Please update the description to add a disclaimer about darkening these roads with network skins or repaint (or any other method).

For reference information, this is the result of doing so:

Also, *please* update/replace the screenshots to show the new look of the roads. They currently show a road that I want to use, but is not what you get when you subscribe to it.

If you use Network skins, you can easily see and test the problem yourself, just change the road colour down from vanilla for a stretch of the road. As you go further down from the vanilla 'brightness', it gets very bad, very quickly.

Well, as I said the parking bay edges are perfectly fine, it's just the centre driving lanes 'road wear' overlay textures that, when the road is darkened, clearly show extreme texture compression artefacts and a pinkish hue.

I'm not sure if you could refine the texture and check it with a darker background to make sure the artefacts can be removed or reduced. If it could be made to be the same as the parking bay area it would be perfect.

Aside from that, I understand that you would want to keep it a certain way, I am just suggesting you upload a new 'original' no wear texture version to give options to people, while leaving this one as is.

Hi. Well, I don't use any road color changing mods or test my roads with those. Every road just comes with the "base game coloration" ... therefore I can't really answer your questions, if the textures could cause what you describe.

Howerver, the textures used for these roads aren't (as you might know already) "vanilla" like anymore... the initial ones, as seen on the pics, were.

I personally don't like the vanilla look, that's why I created my own "more used/weathered" looking texture set and updated all the "old roads" to these new textures. I did this because, as explained above, and to share ressources across all roads. The whole upda4e process took so much time already, that I didn't do that with the pics as well.

Bringing back the "old" look is possible, in theory... but that would either require a mod (AN) or the vanilla option of "renaming" roads. Sadly, both aren t options I am concidering, because that would force everybody who is using these roads to use one of the mentioned options. Sry :/

This road looks absolutely terrible with a darkened road colour. The side 'parking areas' look fine, but the central driving lanes make the 'road wear' texture horrendous.

I just started using these today, so am not sure if this is related to the latest March update: "updated to the new main textures".

Would it be possible to have a version that features the (I am assuming) original textures shown in the screenshots?
Right now it's kind of false advertising as none of the screenshots show the new textures you updated to.

Even if darkening the road texture didn't clash with the new textures,I would prefer if there was a cleaner, original version.
