Removed ruler_names from namelists and added regnal_full_names. When generating regnal names, non-regnal full names will no longer be used if a regnal name is available, but if no regnal name is available, normal names will be use
I took your advice to heart and went to work and there was quite an interessting discovery. The 'species_classes' folder in my Chiss mod is empty. So, out of curiosity, I went to the nearby forder, 'portrait_sets', and change the name of the file inside from '00_portrait_sets' to '01c_portrait_sets'. I made this change to the same file in my valyrian mod ('01v_portrait_sets') and one of my morjan mods ('01mhr_portrait_sets) and now I can use all three together.

Turns out, your Chiss one is the one I've been using that's been working.
Stellar Legions Base Compatibility might be the best bet, I'm... sadly not smart enough for that level of coding.
I can try to get you links to the exact mods I'm talking about for reference as well, if you like.
For the namelist? Hard to say. That's now 2 years ago. It seens I have used elements of it but it also seems that my list can need further improvement so this will definitely get handy.

Thx for the info. I'm taking a look into this. What really strange is that from a progamming perspective everything seems fine. I just tried it myself and everything seems also to be fine. Even the log file shows nothing despite the ordinary. I try several runs later to find out more.

In that case I misunderstood something. I thought you simply didn't wanted to have the Legacy Humans as a selection. To say it directly: An Ironman version is impossible. This mechanic is deeply rooted into the base game. There is nothing I can do to make this mod ironman compatible.
A mod isn't necessary for that. You can do this in a few easy steps on your own. Just go to your game folder Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/281990/1742244946/common/species_classes. There you open the file '01_valyrian_classes.txt' and delete the line 15. The legacy humans won't appear then when you use the mod. Rather simple and straightforward.
I am sorry but this seems to be impossible. Or at least I don't know what to do to change this. Even due to the fact that this mod only adds one single portrait it is recognized as a modification of the base game. This goes back to the the earliest versions of the game when two species of the same phenotype get a diplomacy bonus.
Erledigt. Neue Version ist bereits on. War genau wie du gesagt hast. Der letze Patch hat "Human Legacy" als Auswahl hinzugefügt. Nachdem ich das ergänzt habe läuft jetzt hoffentlich alles wieder rund.

You can find the new mod in my workshop or under the name "Valyrian Solo Species". It was a little bit more difficult because I had to modify some of the localisations I have included but not that much. And: It didn't spawn another shipset. Either I am really good, or I have messed it up totally. Let me know what you think.

Can you do something like "Human revolution"? Basically they just add a new type like mammalian/fungoid/reptilian, so it will not cause conflict with basically anything
