The addon would have to be updated, and I'm not the one working on it. It would be better if you report this issue on addon itself.

Thank you for this incredible mod. Unlike other hl games you don't feel alone here by virtue of authors. I also managed to save all soldiers and most of the scientists despite my soldiers attacking them 😊 . Visually Blue Shift and some mods are superior but overall this mod is best .

Exactly what Sinon Sniper said, it is very easy and almost the same as other big mods, like Black Mesa: Blue Shift for example.

What exactly do you not understand? The instructions seem to clearly explain what needs to be done. If you download the mod through the workshop, then you must do the following:
1. Subscribe to the mod and wait for it to download.
2. After the download is complete, you must go to the folder where the mod was downloaded, the path where the mod is stored is also indicated in the instructions.
3. You need to copy the contents to the folder where Black Mesa is installed.
4. After the files have been copied, run one of the bat files (Black Mesa Military.bat or Black Mesa Military oldUI.bat)

Okay thanks for the information. Yes I have included the captions but the .dat was not created, in the next release we're trying to pump the mod with everything that it lacked before.

About the Chinese subtitles , it does have 'closecaption_schinese.txt' but missing 'closecaption_schinese.dat' , so the subtitles don't appear.

If you are using launch options, then type in: -game bmmilitary. The gameinfo.txt should be in bmmilitary folder. I put it there, maybe you removed it by accident?

This was pretty fun overall, tho I feel like the mod had some small issues here and there (Not enough to ruin the experience, but enough to be noticeable and distracting).
With some extra polish and overhauling, this could become a great experience.

The launcher for the mod, the .bat file, reads the bms.exe of the game and then, it reads the bmmilitary folder, which needs to be put in the game's folder after installation. If bmmilitary folder is there, then the game should run it. You can also try putting -bmmilitary in the game's launch options in steam, so it will run the mod instead of the regular game, when you launch it from steam.

The problem is Black Mesa don't see mod as downloaded

Some people reported this issue about the mod not booting up, but I reinstalled the whole mod and it still runs for me fine. What about the Launch Black Mesa Military oldUI? Does it not load as well?

Mod isn't working anymore for me I tried to launch game from bmmilitary.bat It just forces close nothing appear on the screen blue shift and other mods works fine for me.

I don't know what the problem might be. Simply dragging the mod folders to black mesa location will make it work. What's worse, people never explain what is the issue. How can I know how to help if they don't specifiy precisely the issue they have. They just spread hate and then leave.
I gave a default path where to drag the folders, and it's Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa\. And you can't extract the files loose, but whole folder must be there, and they can't be in bms folder and they can't be in custom folder. And for me that's enough, I run the launcher and POOF, the mod launches, and for tons of other people too. This is like the easiest installation procedure EVER, and I know what I'm saying because I've installed TONS of mods to various games. Running the launcher as administrator might help too.

If you can't enter the game, just add -game bmmilitary to the launch options.

So far, I've tried to get EITHER the Workshop version or the MODDB version to work. I've followed all instructions TO THE LETTER. Your mod doesn't work for me which is a massive shame. Based off my total playtime: 0/10

Awesome. Just more soundacting and more reactions of NPCs and this would be the quality of an official DLC. The leveldesign is incredible in many places. Great play and pretty lengthy

Can you run normal Black Mesa without the mod? Did you copy the whole folder bmmilitary to black mesa directory?

Failed to launch the game.
End in progress.
Tried to launch the bat as administrator but it didn't work.
Game folder already moved to the direct place.
Just cannot launch.
No crash report

Its good and bad because there still a lot of bugs certain chapters I had to restart because a scripted scene wouldn't play so I would be stuck there till i restarted and parts of the map wouldn't load. but it's still good
