Hey, nexus mods are not available for a few days now... Don't know what happened, but could you please upload the uncompressed version to another mirror? Thanks!
fredingue 22 Oct, 2013 @ 8:09pm
OK, i'll do it. I dunno if it can interfear with your props, but i also use More props ans stuff (queen bed with girl and TV on) from Divinity One and i have the uncooked trees from Mad Hatters in my base Seattle file as well (but did not use them in my present UGC)
TY and i hope you will make new things soon :)
Ferragus  [author] 22 Oct, 2013 @ 8:03pm
Hmm. I have no idea why they would disappear like that all of a sudden. I hadn't uploaded any updates or anything and have no idea what would cause that. I think the editor is very finicky about remembering what content packs are set as dependencies. it's annoying but there's nothing i can really do about that.

You should be able to to just copy the contents of the art and data folders into your module. You can pretty much ignore the project.cpack thing unless you plan to set my mod as a dependency. The .cpack is the main file of the mod, as far as I know.

If you did want to set it as a dependency then in the editor you would go to File > Edit Content Pack Dependencies, and then tick the box next to the mod, as long as it's saved in the location the editor knows to look for.

I hope that helps.
fredingue 22 Oct, 2013 @ 7:38pm
So i just have to copy what's inside the art & data and paste it inside my module same files (and mayybe Seattle ones because i work with it as main dependencies froom start ? What to do with the project.cpack thing ?
Nota : the first time, about 2 weeks ago, all props disappeared : fututistic stairs, fancy doors, staicase without police thing. The second time about 1 week ago only the doorframes missed.
Ferragus  [author] 22 Oct, 2013 @ 7:24pm
@fredingue The files on Nexus are uncooked.

If a prop is disappearing my only guess is it's the "Futuristic Stairs" due to the typo I fixed. If that's the the case you should just replace the old vanished version with the new one and hopefully that won't happen again since I don't plan on altering that particular prop any further.

As for the .DS_Store files. I'm working on a Mac, and those are simply invisible files that macs use to organize stuff. You should be abel to ignore them or delete them without it causing any trouble. In my next update I'll see if I can find a way of packing the mod together without it containing those.
fredingue 22 Oct, 2013 @ 7:15pm
Hi, Ferragus. I used some of your props in my upcoming story Buzz in the Matrix.
I just DL the zip file from Nexus, but can't figure out what to do with the files.
There is art file with tenements file and .DS_store inside, Data with props, scenes and another .DS_Store inside, .DS_Store preview and project pack.
This is quite confusing to me.
(i had some strange things happening with your props that "disappeared" two times from my UGC with no reason and i would like to use the uncooked files to make sure everything comes as it should)
Private Detective 22 Oct, 2013 @ 3:42pm
Yay! Thanks!
Ferragus  [author] 22 Oct, 2013 @ 2:26pm
Things have been busy and I have't been able to update as often as I'd have liked. That said. I just did a very quick update to fix a typo on one of the items. And an uncompressed version of the file is now available on Nexus Mods. Link in the description.
Private Detective 18 Sep, 2013 @ 7:21pm
Could you please upload these uncompressed, soit can be included to UGC w/o dependency?
fredingue 12 Sep, 2013 @ 12:31am
Ferragus,do your doors have a block function ?
I just tested a new decor with saloon & small ashylum doors : my char just moved through them.
I know you intended to provide tenement doorframes not supposed to have a door middle, but i like the fancy edges and i would like to be able to lock some doors with them :)
fredingue 11 Sep, 2013 @ 8:55pm
Would it be possible for you too design some attic and basement trap doors ?
I mean things like a small door semi opened above with a ladder under, and same with ladder (or stairs) downwards to the cell ?
The game also lacks middle doors to fit many decors. I found but 1 Seemsless union door (maroon with carving) to fit...
TY for all what you've done, i love staircases ! :p
fredingue 11 Sep, 2013 @ 7:39pm
Hi, i just subscribed to your pack. I noticed an error : one of the props is called "tenament_" instead of tenement in your data file. It may lead someone not to find it :p
I'm interested as well as cooked pack, allthough i never used one, but i'm starting to add many UGC props to my Work and would like to be able to publish it as a self-pack :p
Ferragus  [author] 2 Sep, 2013 @ 9:20am
@Daegann Hmm, Okay, I'll look into it and see if I put a link to the uncooked pack on here sometime soon
Daegann 2 Sep, 2013 @ 9:13am
I don't know. I have your png but when I copy them and the corresponding file from data folder and put them into my content, the editor send me an error msg.

here is the discussion in the forum http://www.shadowrun.com/forums/discussion/33407/inserting-existing-prop-to-another-content-pack#Item_2
Ferragus  [author] 2 Sep, 2013 @ 8:24am
@Daegann If theres interest in I might be able to upload the .pngs somewhere. I think there's a woraround for incuding props from UGC without needing a dependancy, but I'm just not sure what it is.
Daegann 2 Sep, 2013 @ 12:58am
Is there any uncoocked files available somewhere for those props ? (so we can include it in our UGC it without dependancy ? Of course credits still mentionned)
Ferragus  [author] 14 Aug, 2013 @ 8:51pm
@Daemon Yes. Those and downwards stairs are the next things I want to get done, but I've been crazy busy lately and haven't had much time to work anything for this pack. I'll try to have some added in a few days, but I can't promise I'll be able to.
Daemon 14 Aug, 2013 @ 6:09pm
Thank you so much! Love this pack. Any chance of getting the stairs and doors for the White Edge walls added? Thanks again.
Ferragus  [author] 14 Aug, 2013 @ 4:44pm
@Daemon Done!
I didn't realize that it wasn't showing up or I would have done that sooner.
Daemon 14 Aug, 2013 @ 4:12pm
Please republish this so it'll appear on the Workshop again.
Ferragus  [author] 5 Aug, 2013 @ 2:27pm
@Terra_Ex That prop seemed missaligned when I imported it into the editor for some reason, but I'm not sure why it acts like that. I'll look into when I make the update.

@Gambit_101 Strange. I've never run into that, but I'll try to see what I can.

@TomPombar I took wall style that are in the game but that didn't have proper doors to match. I simply added doors to those sets.
Ferragus  [author] 5 Aug, 2013 @ 2:27pm
Guys, sorry for the long delay before getting to your questions. I was away for the last few days without internet, so I'll try to send out an update tomorrow that fixes some of the thing you's brought to my attention.

@Marcusss I THINK people will have to be subscribed to this as well. You'll set it as a dependancy and they'll need both paks to use thise items... I think. Sorry about the lighting, I must have had the normals set wrong. I'll fix that in the next update.

@icemann Sorry for the lack of answer, like I said, I was away. When I upload that update I'll incude instructions in the description. Thanks for placing those to help other out in the meantime.
Marquis-III 4 Aug, 2013 @ 5:56am
Hmm, it seems it's a problem of Light. The "No-Tape" stairs don't react to the light the same way as it's taped counterpart.
Marquis-III 4 Aug, 2013 @ 5:14am
Ok, got it into the assets library but when I run the scene, the stairs I used (no-tape) are not present. There is a black spot where they should be...:/
Marquis-III 4 Aug, 2013 @ 2:40am
If I add some of these props in my project and then upload this project in the workshop will people who download it have it in the game or not?
icemann 4 Aug, 2013 @ 1:33am
Nevermind, a bit of searching of the forums here and I figured it out.

For those who don't know:
* Find the content pack which you'll find in userdata/<some number>/check through these numbers and you'll find it in there somewhere.
* When you find the content pack, use winzip, 7zip etc to open it
* Extract the files within to a new folder in steam/steamapps/common/shadowrun returns/shadowrun_data/streaming assets/content packs.

Open up the editor and it should now appear in your list of content packs
icemann 4 Aug, 2013 @ 12:47am
Asking since I don't get the option to include this in my dependencies in the editor, after downloading it.
icemann 4 Aug, 2013 @ 12:38am
So how does one go about installing then using this? Do you grab the content folder from the userdata location, copy it over to the main content packs directory and then go from there?
Langreda 3 Aug, 2013 @ 8:08pm
Good stuff, keep it up!
Terra_Ex 3 Aug, 2013 @ 7:29pm
Nice set, though the "Fancy Door Front" render bounds seem to be incorrectly offset in the prop editor, only encompassing the front half of the prop.
Gambit_101 3 Aug, 2013 @ 4:33am
Hey, i downloaded this and started to get black boxes round the characters instead of the usual green ring when playing through the editor.
TomPombar 3 Aug, 2013 @ 3:47am
Thanks a bunch for this! Do all the new doors have wall styles that match already in the game?
Metushelah 2 Aug, 2013 @ 2:38pm
hey guys, how do you do this create props for inside the game?
i would like to create some new spirits and i am just a beginner
Tracker 2 Aug, 2013 @ 12:09pm
Nice! This was on my "Most Wanted Props" list.
Ferragus  [author] 2 Aug, 2013 @ 9:47am
@Daemon Ah. I had this done days ago but wasn't able to upload it at all until the patch they put out last night. I guess they fixed the update bug at the same time?
Daemon 2 Aug, 2013 @ 9:32am
@Ferragus: I think they fixed the update thing. I've updated my Debug Room 6 times already with no problems. Thanks for the upload. Needed that damned Maroon one earlier. lol Look forward to the updates!
Adarael 2 Aug, 2013 @ 9:11am
All about this. Thanks!
Ferragus  [author] 2 Aug, 2013 @ 8:48am
@Daemon That's the next thing on my to-do list. I don't know if they've fixed the issue with not being able to publish updates to content packs yet, but as soon as that solved I'll update with some downward stairs.
Daemon 2 Aug, 2013 @ 7:57am
Very nice. Any chance of doing some stairs going down?
Ferragus  [author] 2 Aug, 2013 @ 7:18am
@Divintiy_One What can I say. I made some to use my own maps since none were uploaded. It was good practice on creating my own props at least. Hopefully they solve the republishing issue soon.
Divinity_One 2 Aug, 2013 @ 7:14am
Beat me to my uploads :p was waiting out the republishing issue! Good work.
Ferragus  [author] 2 Aug, 2013 @ 6:30am
Thanks, Wolfgang. I figured that there needed to be more props like this, so I hope it helps.
Wolfgang421 2 Aug, 2013 @ 5:40am
Ferragus, this is awesome! Thanks!
