TY and i hope you will make new things soon :)
You should be able to to just copy the contents of the art and data folders into your module. You can pretty much ignore the project.cpack thing unless you plan to set my mod as a dependency. The .cpack is the main file of the mod, as far as I know.
If you did want to set it as a dependency then in the editor you would go to File > Edit Content Pack Dependencies, and then tick the box next to the mod, as long as it's saved in the location the editor knows to look for.
I hope that helps.
Nota : the first time, about 2 weeks ago, all props disappeared : fututistic stairs, fancy doors, staicase without police thing. The second time about 1 week ago only the doorframes missed.
If a prop is disappearing my only guess is it's the "Futuristic Stairs" due to the typo I fixed. If that's the the case you should just replace the old vanished version with the new one and hopefully that won't happen again since I don't plan on altering that particular prop any further.
As for the .DS_Store files. I'm working on a Mac, and those are simply invisible files that macs use to organize stuff. You should be abel to ignore them or delete them without it causing any trouble. In my next update I'll see if I can find a way of packing the mod together without it containing those.
I just DL the zip file from Nexus, but can't figure out what to do with the files.
There is art file with tenements file and .DS_store inside, Data with props, scenes and another .DS_Store inside, .DS_Store preview and project pack.
This is quite confusing to me.
(i had some strange things happening with your props that "disappeared" two times from my UGC with no reason and i would like to use the uncooked files to make sure everything comes as it should)
I just tested a new decor with saloon & small ashylum doors : my char just moved through them.
I know you intended to provide tenement doorframes not supposed to have a door middle, but i like the fancy edges and i would like to be able to lock some doors with them :)
I mean things like a small door semi opened above with a ladder under, and same with ladder (or stairs) downwards to the cell ?
The game also lacks middle doors to fit many decors. I found but 1 Seemsless union door (maroon with carving) to fit...
TY for all what you've done, i love staircases ! :p
I'm interested as well as cooked pack, allthough i never used one, but i'm starting to add many UGC props to my Work and would like to be able to publish it as a self-pack :p
here is the discussion in the forum http://www.shadowrun.com/forums/discussion/33407/inserting-existing-prop-to-another-content-pack#Item_2
I didn't realize that it wasn't showing up or I would have done that sooner.
@Gambit_101 Strange. I've never run into that, but I'll try to see what I can.
@TomPombar I took wall style that are in the game but that didn't have proper doors to match. I simply added doors to those sets.
@Marcusss I THINK people will have to be subscribed to this as well. You'll set it as a dependancy and they'll need both paks to use thise items... I think. Sorry about the lighting, I must have had the normals set wrong. I'll fix that in the next update.
@icemann Sorry for the lack of answer, like I said, I was away. When I upload that update I'll incude instructions in the description. Thanks for placing those to help other out in the meantime.
For those who don't know:
* Find the content pack which you'll find in userdata/<some number>/check through these numbers and you'll find it in there somewhere.
* When you find the content pack, use winzip, 7zip etc to open it
* Extract the files within to a new folder in steam/steamapps/common/shadowrun returns/shadowrun_data/streaming assets/content packs.
Open up the editor and it should now appear in your list of content packs
i would like to create some new spirits and i am just a beginner
