Thank you! I am working on a more extensive update. Hopefully have it together for everyone soon.
Sorry I never got around to fixing this, I was having issues updating the mod before but I made the change you suggested updated the mod with the new Stellaris launcher. The description has changed on the mod page so looks like the update worked.
I am laid off at the moment with the Coronavirus situation so I am hoping I can update this for Federations on the new origins mechanic. Keep in mind I am no modder, it took me a whole day just to figure out how to fix this mod for 2.2.4 but I want to clean it up so the species will actually spawn in games properly if we want.
I wanted to reach out to everyone to see if they had ideas on what kind of Origin they would want to see with the Goa'uld & Jaffa species.
I figured for the Goa'uld it would be having cruiser tech so they start with Ha'tak's and having the Jaffa as slaves with a thrawl world (thinking Chulak).
Jaffa could start on Dakara with the superweapon but not sure what kind of bonuses that might entail.
Let me know your thoughts, I am trying to see what I can find on reddit or the web for tutorials to help figuring it out.
Thanks,
Dan
i changed it to Yes and it works! so if you could change it that would be amazing, or i can upload it if you dont have the time? thanks
Not sure why that would be happening, I can try to look at it next week for you but I just started a new job and don't have a lot of time.
It would be the same as it was previously, the only thing I changed was the coding that made sure the pops use food & consumer goods. I wouldn't be sure how it could be tweaked to make it compatible the Stargate Universe mod though.
I didn't do anything with the solar systems no, all that I fixed was that the pops would use food & consumer goods.
Is the solar system still the initialiser for Jaffa or has this been changed?
Do you have them up on the workshop?
I will have to reach out to the creators of that mod to get their permission.
My intention was fix pops not consuming food & consumer goods after 2.2.2.
