i have an intermittent issue that has not been resolved for years, sometimes when i build roads, crosswalks are disabled. doesn't matter what kind of road, or what map. I have uninstalled and reinstalled... im not sure whats going on.

@Jaded and what can I do about it? Seriously, how can I help with the issue between your PC and the Steam workshop servers?
Workshop item management allows for two things:
- change item visibility in the search results or accessing using the url
- delete item
That's all I can do. Contact steam support, you can browse comments, here and other workshop items and you will see similar comments that mods not working while the reason is steam server or bugged steam client.

It seems to not downloading, it showed as 0 bytes. When things go wrong I always assume Steam is the cause, so to try to hit a different server I used my VPN and downloaded from Europe (I am in the USA). Still not showing up. This makes me wonder if maybe the Steam server has lost it or something.

@Jaws_TheShark two potential source of that problem:
1) Steam workshop client didn't download anything (mod won't be visible on the Mods tab in the Content Manager, only on the Steam Workshop tab) - can't help, it's the Steam client/servers issue. Try resubscribing, subscribe something else, change download region city in the Steam client settings,
2) somehow it moved out of the screen area (if you ever had mod installed), use "reset position" button in the mod options after loading a savegame or starting a new game.

@Elec7us ask Steam. Workshop sever(s)/client is often not working correctly, especially when run mod synchronization.
@laurali it's mentioned in the mod description. Literally first thing under the banner. Use Broken Nodes Detector, fix/remove things and it should work correcty. It's the main reason why it breaks the mod but also greatly slows down the simulation (doesn't matter if with or without mod)
@Iron Cross vehicles are despawning in vanilla and that's the default setting in the mod. You need to change it (click) to disable despawning.

Hey so i just found the reason for despawning traffic its a option on the panel he gives you its the right top button with a car and a ! on it. sorry for those who didnt know

I also have an issue with this mod for about a week. After building or changing streets, cars can't use them anymore and disappear instead of driving forwards. The only way to fix it is to save and reload the game. Additionally traffic is very slow all around the city when the mod is installed. Unfortunately that is why I had to deinstall the mod. Is there any way to fix it?

I have an issue with this mod, whenever I use it I notice that my busses car trips saved stat is always at 0 percent however when I disable the mod it increases to a normal amount, any idea why this is happening?

@jonathanschutz I mentioned what one can do to check things. The main use of Broken Nodes Detector is detecting broken nodes (pedestrian/bike paths), they can break with and without mods, doesn't matter, so use that mod and fix everything it finds.
In CS1, service buildings are sending/receiving requests and they are handled by priority, when request cannot be handled because there is no path, priority is bumped after a while and other buildings will try to send their vehicles, so more and more buildings of certain service type will try to serve the request. You know the rest.

I have read other players talking about service cars disapearing/fluctuating between 1 and 0,
I got the same problem,

Im new to the game, and started using mods yesterday and I have read quite a lot to select ones that ara compatible, I also have de Skyve (altough I need to run it separtely, because I run CS1 on Ubuntu, I still don't know how to run it in game.
But I need to understand what causes the service cars to oscilate between one and zero and have them to spawn correctly, sometimes they do, others they don't, i have built more landfills and cemiteries, but eventually they stop spawaning or get stuck.
Also i noticed that when I create a elevated walk path to cross roads, the services cars sometimes appear on it.

Are you trying to let straight-on lanes from one direction of a T intersection continue without waiting for traffic from the left (assuming RHD)? You can use timed traffic lights for this.
Can you make a rule for straight on red?

I installed the mod but literally nothing shows up, tried removing all my other mods, tried deinstalling and reinstalling Harmony mod as well, nothing.

It's not even in the option menu.

@AD0R3YY it sounds like you are trying to force vehicles to use certain routes and now they can't reach destination, most likely because of wrong lane connections - you can test it by disabling lane connector feature at Mainenance tab in the mod option after loading savegame. If they start spawning then it means there must be a wrong lane connection (or missing) somewhere on their route.
Alternatively use Broken Nodes Detector mod. There's a tool for checking where vehicles wanna go but failing (despawning).

City services do not work for me anymore. They aren't spawning and are fluctuating between 0 and 1 car(s). The mod might be broken again. (I have clear driving paths as well too)

Somehow TM:PE causes service vehicles to despawn, causing an unplayable situation with TM:PE active. I tested it with only TM:PE and Broken Nodes active. Is there an easy fix for this?

Is there a way to copy/paste road configs to other roads? Mainly asking for placing restrictions in suburban areas since that can take a while.

Hello! I'm reporting an issue that happened to me today. I built an avenue that cross with a road, and I did 4 crossings to make the traffic flow, using the timmed traffic lights. Everything works fine with the traffic and with the traffic light, but, no pedestrians wants to walk thru them. Not a single person uses that avenue. I checked and the pedestrian lights are green, and even I have the crosswalks enable for all crossings. I changed the avenue to another one just to make sure, and the problem is still there. The only thing I did that fixed it was completly remove the timmed traffic lights, and instantly, pedestrians started to use that avenue again. Do you know why is that happening? What can I do? Love the mod, using for years! Thanks in advance. :steamhappy:

@arun.s.oberai it's not this mod, but broken node(s) somewhere in the city. Use Broken Nodes Detector mod and fix all broken nodes it finds.

Hi! this mod is giving me a lot of issues, i'm not sure if it's just me. Every time I build a road, the speed limit is 25mph but the cars drive at 5mph and I have to manually adjust every segment. Also cars no longer listen to my lane adjustments and whenever I build new roads, they don't integrate with existing roads such as bus routes don't recognise, cars vanish on new segments of road.

Anyone knows anything that'll help! i would really appreciate!!! Thank you :)))

Thank you Krzychu1245! I saw the point where my segment could be considered a slightly short stretch. After redoing the entire segment/stretch, (which was very time consuming...LOL) it made everyone obey the timestamps accordingly. 👍👍

I never actually paid attention to that. As the old saying(s) go, "..you can always learn something new everyday...", and "...you're NEVER too old to learn..."! THANK you! 😁😁

hello :) is anyone else having issues with visible crosswalks after removing them? my citizen's don't use them, but the lines are still there. i tried using the node adjuster to remove them and have Hide TMPE crosswalks V3.2 [stable] installed. but they're still there! considering i play for aesthetics, this is a nightmare haha.

Now, I will say that this is actually a case. I have had this happen to me as well, where they are no longer obeying the timed traffic lights all the time. I would have to go in and reset them just to keep them honest. So, yes, this is a real situation. I just never said anything because it could have just been me (and my million mods/assets in the game possibly clashing finally...LOL), where I just relied on my simple workaround, but it would be nice to have that resolved if possible, now that it has been others besides me experiencing it. LOL

Any thoughts on this one, Krzychu1245?

In the past, trains and other vehicles were able to stop at timed signals, but recently they have started passing through without stopping. Why is this happening?

@Tcholak two things: make sure the mod is installed and enabled (you can find countless comments here and under other workshop items that steam client ignores any new or updated items you have subsrcibed).
If default key binding (Ctrl + "zero") doesn't show the menu, it means either some other mod is blocking that specific keybind (you can change it in the mod options) or again, the mod is not enabled/installed.

Hi there,
I have found I don't have timed traffic lights, and I am missing two buttons compared to the main screenshot with timed traffic lights.
Is this something wrong from my side or does TM:PE not support timed traffic lights anymore?
