is there an ID for the ruined ecumenopolis and the molten ecumenopolis?
It's just for console commands.
ุReshy 1. Aug. 2021 um 10:06
Is this still compatible with the latest version?
ุReshy 14. Apr. 2021 um 8:47
Should make there a variant of the ruined ecumenopolis that's overrun by criminals. Spawning a criminal empire when first colonized and kicking out your colonists, it has unique criminal districts and a large initial land force to prevent them from being easily wiped out on first finding.
TheDestroyer 26. Sep. 2020 um 20:06
Does this work for 2.7.2?
ุReshy 5. Sep. 2020 um 19:45
Part of me would sorta like to see some ruined hive/infested worlds or something also spawn, just like "Oh yeah, the Prethoryn Swarm was here once, and this planet is still screwed up/inhabited with feral Prethoryn".
spectre199 18. März 2020 um 10:28
will this work for 2.6 Federations or does it need to be updated
Hatty7 12. März 2020 um 6:39
do you plan on updating the mod? This is a great mod nonetheless
feanel 20. Jan. 2020 um 8:25
for 2.5 works?
Zenith 11. Okt. 2019 um 11:34
This might be a very stupid comment, but I got the ecumenopolis renovation started but after a decade it still didn't move an inch.
Is one of my mods messing it up or something?
Kyllian 1. Juli 2019 um 12:17
having the same problem. progress doesn't change
Xivitai 14. Juni 2019 um 21:12
How it was supposed to work? I started Ecumenopolis Restoration Project on Molten Ecumenopolis - it says 3000 days remaining and it does not change when time passes.
Sam_  [Autor] 5. Juni 2019 um 22:27
Updated. A few minor changes, such as sound effects and GFX, using the new relic world. As to additional functionality using the new relic systems, I haven't had a chance to play the DLC yet, so that is on the todo list.
Kyllian 5. Juni 2019 um 19:06
Any chance of updating to 2.3? While a it, what do you think of of the new precursor relic world that can be turned into an ecumenopolis? Maybe join one like it to the mod?
The Shootist 12. Mai 2019 um 17:39
console command? Plz somebody help may
Sir Mayday 26. Apr. 2019 um 14:24
Quick update: By subscribing to the 'non-100%' version of this mod and running it (along with this one) while loading the aforementioned game (which had already generated the guaranteed ecus), I enabled the restoration decision. The descriptions on the planet modifiers remain incorrect.
Sir Mayday 20. Apr. 2019 um 20:44
I am experiencing the same glitch docTuna described on Feb 19 in my current game; I cannot identify the source of the problem (I have the requirements for the Arcology Project ascension perk, though I do not have the MegaCorp DLC). If I can provide any information for troubleshooting, let me know (I'd include a mod list, but I rather doubt any of them is the culprit).
Arbiter of Eradication 16. Apr. 2019 um 9:41
Is this compatible with Planet Diversity and Planet Diversity New Worlds Module?
Sam_  [Autor] 1. Apr. 2019 um 13:40
The requirements to repair the ecumenopolis is the same as the requires to build one. As stated in the description of the mod.
UnLapinDeGaren 1. Apr. 2019 um 12:30
great after a lot of games I finally managed to have a ruined ecu except that I'm a robot it's too dirty and we all play robots or collective consciousness, it's too boring there's no way to allow everyone to have it because, it's ridiculous without its

thks for your work but i want to see your ecu!!!
Clemens-HeinrichGrafvonKageneck 1. Apr. 2019 um 2:35
Why cant a Gestalt Empire restore the ruined ecumenopolis?
lexduex 23. März 2019 um 11:50
@Sam_ Thank you for your answer.
Sam_  [Autor] 23. März 2019 um 5:11
This uses a system initializer which spawns the required systems on galaxy generation. You wont have any bugs, but the systems wont exist on an existing game.
lexduex 23. März 2019 um 4:03
Is this save game compatible?
adasko 22. Feb. 2019 um 13:31
Inwards Perfection, I did add the required techs with the "research_all_technologies" command
Sam_  [Autor] 19. Feb. 2019 um 17:14
What is your empire type? Do you have ownership over the system? Do you have the agrarian idyll civic?
adasko 19. Feb. 2019 um 8:59
Thanks! But there are still major issues: the ecumenopoleis cannot be repaired even with the right technologies, the decisions button greyed out. Also, the modifier description only reads "ruined_ecumenopolis_desc". Would this error fixable or is it tied to not having Megacorp?
Sam_  [Autor] 18. Feb. 2019 um 14:57
Fixed.
adasko 18. Feb. 2019 um 12:13
I would like to report a problem; despite trying multiple times (even using "survey"), I could not find a single ruined ecumenopolis in the entire galaxy in any of my games. After a bit of digging in the mod files, I found the following check for the system initializers:
modifier = {
host_has_dlc = "Megacorp"
add = 100
Could this be the cause of my problem? I don't own Megacorp.
Pamparampampamparam 17. Feb. 2019 um 13:29
What about a version that only spawns the Molten Ecumenopolis so you don't have 2 Ruined Ecumenopolis when you use Ruined Fen Habbanis?
Sam_  [Autor] 1. Feb. 2019 um 3:47
The ecumenopolis should now appear on the expansion planner.
Raptor 31. Jan. 2019 um 10:46
There are still "any_planet =" scopes in ruec_events.txt, that scope did not exits anymore in 2.2.3 - you have to change it to "any_system_planet =". Any rule with that command will not work in 2.2.3, the whole scope is removed.

Does this work with saved games?
Sam_  [Autor] 30. Jan. 2019 um 7:48
It used to, but I removed the requirement. Like the Precursor event it gives people without the DLC a way of getting an ecumenopolis, but not building your own.
dAjOsh42069 30. Jan. 2019 um 7:36
Forgive me if I missed it in the description up above, but..does this require Mega Corp to function? I know the base game DOES have Ecumenopoli in it, but ONLY makes it available if you get it via precursor discoveries.
Hence, my question...
Does this mod require Mega Corp?
SSS-class Herotism 29. Jan. 2019 um 0:32
Yeah, I guess it's just a bugged description then, after all my pops working as artisans don't produce 60 cosnumer goods on the cost of 60 Minerals. It's the value for the total production of the 10 pops who can work in the district
Sam_  [Autor] 28. Jan. 2019 um 17:20
I haven't changed the stats of the ecumenopolises. The cost and population is the same as the base game. If colonising it early is a bad idea it has nothing to do with my mod.

This mod should be compatible with all of those mods. This does not make changes to any vanilla files.
SSS-class Herotism 28. Jan. 2019 um 11:31
Nevermind, it just takes some population micromanagement in order to deal with it
Gre.il.vec 28. Jan. 2019 um 11:23
Is this compatible with any other mod that adds ruined stuff, including the "Always Spawning" mod?
SSS-class Herotism 28. Jan. 2019 um 11:15
Hey, I colonized the Ecumenopolis in year 90ish of my civilzation and I must say, that it truly is unsustainable for such an early game empire. I mean, 10 work slots and they use up 60 minerals and produce 60consumer goods, PER JOB? Could you maybe rebalance it to be an option for early game civs?
Sam_  [Autor] 27. Jan. 2019 um 7:17
There is now a mod for a ruined Fen Habbanis ecumenopolis.
Finn 27. Jan. 2019 um 5:45
Badass mod man. This planetary destruction is something many mods lack. Perhaps consider giving freshly burned tomb worlds a shot?
Vehk 26. Jan. 2019 um 23:35
Great idea and implementation! I agree, that it'll be nice if you change the Fen Habbanis ecumenopolis to a ruined state as well. Maybe in a separate mod so that not to ruin the compatibility.
Spirit 26. Jan. 2019 um 1:56
can you add a overgrown ecumenopolis version like taris in star wars is one ?
NHAOKU 24. Jan. 2019 um 21:35
ecumenopolis exist on the base game, the first league and the irassians(i think) have them
Fingolfin 24. Jan. 2019 um 15:20
Looks good, but you should change Fen Habbanis to spawn as a ruined version too because right now it's just extremely OP.
Booperius 24. Jan. 2019 um 13:06
Can you create a version that allows all empires to fix them?
eldiabs 24. Jan. 2019 um 9:00
Isn't there a ecumenopolis in the vanilla game? League precursor event homeworld. Only thing megacorp does is allow you to build them, correct?
Dr_Whosinhymer 24. Jan. 2019 um 8:51
pretty cool. i like all the roleplay possibilities with this. plus the ability to get an ecunooplis with a reduced cost is nice
