For anyone wondering, I can confirm that the current version (2.6, updated April 30th) works with Nemesis/Dick 3.0.x, despite the warning that it is incompatible.

I decided to run a game with this mod even though it says it doesn't work. Sadly the mod just does nothing which is really sad cause the mod looks amazing.

Do not worry. Treat this philosophically. As long as I have followers who support me, this and other mods will live on. The dogs bark, but the caravan moves on. The update will appear on Steam in due course.

I can't build a Planetary Core Regulator building on a planet that has the Volcanic Activity disaster. Looking at your files, I can see that the building has been set to capital only - but the disaster has happened to a non-capital planet. Can you fix that?

I've tried using the Twilight Deizens origin, and A for some reason the hability always ends up with desert and B I don't see Krast caves spawn on my homeworld

@oneblackwolf1995 No, not natively. You can however use submods/comp patches such as Diverse New Frontiers to try and merge the two. It sort of works, although there's at least some redundancies: unexpected behaviour might still happen later on in a campaign though (the sheer amount of things and events that can overlap in unforeseen ways is pretty massive, and rng dependant, so it's hard to really test everything enough beforehand).

TL;dr: yeah, with DNF you can at the very least manage to generate galaxies with both mods together apparently working fine. But after that no long term promises.

I tried playing the Awakened origin and noticed it spawns you with ships despite saying that you start with nothing. Is it intentional that the three ancient worlds you start on are so far apart? Every time I generate a map my three starting systems are halfway across the map from each other. If it is, I feel like it'd be worth mentioning that in the description text on the select screen.

Additionally, the opening text for this origin (what plays when you start a game) has various typos and is phrased somewhat clumsily.

There are no new planets, they are modifiers to the planets. You’ll still only have the 9 base planet types.

what i can say is i used the diverse frontiers mod to merge them, and it use to work fine: despite some dodgy writing (and spelling errors etc.) that can effect immersion (and to clarify that's coming from the mod creators themselves, not because of the merging.) now though everything just seems fubar. planet artwork misaligned and out of frame: rings on planets overlapping their moons (this is fixed with real space scaling, but real space scaling doesn't take into account combat computer numbers vrs. new range values etc.)

all in all there doesn't seem to be a lot of answers, let alone fixes, coming from any camp as to how we might sort any of this out and have it work like it use to. again, with stacking mods or just standalone. this is very unfortunate with the new dlc coming out soon.

real space and planetary diversity are compatible with the diverse frontiers mod -- look it up and follow their instructions on mod order etc. but again, read the mod description: for in order to make them "compatible" certain features from certain mods override others to make it work. but its the closest thing you'll get to a best of both worlds situation.

it is worth noting though that myself and many others are having a lot of issues with real space even with just the single base mod installed. the mod creator keeps saying everything is a localization error or a mod conflict... but that doesnt seem to be the case from the people who have looked into the localization. and again, not a mod conflict with a single mod.

Do me a favor and try with just this mod. Take off PD and take off every other mod, see what results you get then. You almost certainly have a mod conflict, as I said, and the only one to find it is to load your mods, a few at a time until you find the conflict. Start with just NF, see what you get. Then load PD and see what you get. Then load the mod that Impetuous suggested and see what you get. If the conflict isn't found with either of those steps then start loading your other mods until you find it.

All this planet is supposed to be is a Tidally-Locked World as the starting planet. Nothing else special about it.

For further context, the only thing I can notice as the missing piece is that the trait that says I should have 80% extra habitability for the Tidally-Locked worlds is spelled with a hyphen, whereas the planet in game is listed withOUT a hyphen. Could this difference of spelling be confusing the game into thinking that the planet isn't the correct type?

Thanks Impetuous. I did give it a go, but my starting planet STILL begins as 20% habitability. I might just have to change the starting planet type.

In the traits of the species, a free Tidally-Locked Preference trait is added that gives 80%+ habitability, which with the natural 20% would make it the usual starting planet 100% habitability, but it is simply not translating into the game. On their trait list once I've started the game, there is even the Tidally-Locked Preference symbol that shows the proper habitability, but again, the starter planet still persists with the 20% habitability.

So frustrating.

@Novarcharesk You can try out the mod Diverse New Frontiers and see if that fixes it, it's a comp patch that aims to make the best of both Planetary Diversity and New Frontiers

Yes. It sounds like you have PD taking priority which means your game is using the PD habitability files which do not include tidally locked worlds. But at the same time, the New Frontiers habitability files don't include all of the new worlds from PD. You need a comp patch to make them work. One currently doesn't exist that I'm aware of. Annatar has not expressed any desire to make one. Could go to the forums and ask if anyone is willing to make one. Don't get your hopes up though. It's been said time and time again in this regard that it's either this mod or PD, not both together. The habitability is only one of the issues you can run into using them together.

I am attempting to start a game with a tidally locked planet, but my species is starting with a 20% habitability every time. I do also have Planetary Diversity as well. Would the presence of this mod explain why my first planet is coming back with such low habitability?

@Proton; make sure your loadorder is good; if it persists, unsubscribe then resubscribe to the mod to redownload it (and again, check load order).

Unless you're referring to the same problem Ok2Ezie has reported. I'd maybe wait for a hotfix in that case?

The mod planets do not show up anymore
