I really love the mod so
Make the queens make pops similar to roboticists, and have the civic add a trait to the main species that makes zero pop growth. If possible, queens should only create pops that have the eusocial trait.
and works way better than other modpacks that did only the copy and paste / overwrite from their previous modpack itaration which is now the reason my pc keeps crashing if i try those modpacks
The effects will probably be changed for vanilla civics.
I think nationalist zeal should be changed to a flag icon, because it seems more appropiate.
So this is what I will need to make:
- Collectivist (I'm think something like the adaptable/conservationist symbol)
- Individualist (A single pop icon maybe)
- Multicultural (Not sure)
- Indutrialist (Gears)
- Imperialist (Crossed swords over planet sounds good)
- Isolationist (Not sure)
As well as orange recolours for all the above, as well as base enviromentalist and nationalist?
The effects of those two base civics should be changed, and currently -10% consumer goods usage is pretty weak.
Collectivist/Individualist
Multiculturalist (Fanatic Nationalist)
Industrialist (Fanatic Environmentalist)
Imperialist/Isolationist
As for what the icons are, I don't really care, as long as they look good.
My idea is to include ideology civics as lesser ethics basically, with things like Nationalistic Zeal being Nationalist and then an orange version being Fanatic Nationalist. Same with Environmentalist/Industrialist, Collectivist/Individualist, etc etc
I might make a few civic icons, all I really need to know is how big are the files, because the ones on the stellaris wiki are different then the ones on my computer. I play on low graphics settings because I have a crappy 4GB ram laptop, so that might change it. The rest, such as making the icons (mostly just collaging together bits of other stellaris icons to keep the vannila aesthetic) will just be a few hours of somewhat tedious work.
@Eternal Doomsday, thanks, the main buggy part was empire names which is why I'm not making a lot of governments when I update .

If you find a sprite for one of them and simply edit out the icon in the middle using paint.net you can have an easy template, and you can use shape tools in paint as well as clipart and static icons found on the internet to add the custom icon.
The hardest part will probably be converting the files in the game. I tried to do this once and never could figure out how to actually transfer that weird file type into an editable type such as a .png
Coding is not the problem civics are easy to code and the only bad thing about governments is random names which is why this mod created weird stuff in 2.1.
