What are the differences, in terms of functionality, between stable and beta? I always try to use the beta version if it brings something new,

Unfortunately, NM can't replace PRT. Try to make multiple copies of the same network and you will see how edgy it gets with each step.

Parallel Road Tool is also part of the Hubs & Transport compatible modlist, however, I prefer the functions of Network Multitool.

@S__T ... I have been cleaning up my mods and getting ready to embark on a new city soon.

I just wanted to say thank you for patching this so it works. You are right. This has some nice features like turning multiple networks into one, and allowing you to save the definition. I am a retire software engineer, and know exactly how much effort goes into coding for users. Again, thank you for your valuable time.

Gonna mess around with Load Order and see what happens, but I'm super hoping this is a simple fix because PRT has been part of my mod install since it released back in the day - this thing's mandatory for me :P

Man, I'm having the strangest bug with this thing - I enable the beta version because the stable one doesn't work, but the stable one at least gives me an error. This one doesn't pop up any errors in the game, but gives this little mystery problem in the output log:

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at ParallelRoadTool.UI.UIController.OnGUI () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

Whatever it is, the whole mod becomes completely nonfunctional - there's not just no button in game, there's no selections in its tab in the options screen, but a Harmony report says that PRT is patchin the files like it should, and prints zero conflicts.

I was asking if there was a point because I was trying to see if anyone help me with a suggestion of this over that I'm trying to streamline my mods so i wanted to try different ones. There was no malice in my comment so i really don't understand why you are so rude. I just wanted understanding of the extra abilitiesof your mod.

@Skorpora @RotfellFox: can you please try with Load Order Mod to see if Harmony is correctly installed and up to date?

@Mr. West from the East: What's the point of your comment? What value does it add here?
PRT does a lot of things that NMT doesn't (yet, maybe it will in the future), and since nobody is forcing you to use it I don't see why you should care if other people still enjoy this one.
On top of that, as of today PRT has double the amount of subscribers that NMT has so maybe people are still finding it useful for some reason.
I'd love to see NMT implementing all the things we have in PRT so that I can finally unpublish PRT and stop reading dumb comments like yours.

The mod is currently not able to run. I get a message that Parallel Road mod was unable to install harmony updates and was disabled. I'm not sure why, but there you go.

With the latest update, this MOD is crashing the game. Other than that, I used it with the previous version and this is one of the essential mods to build fantastic transportation networks.

Creating harmony.log.txt on the desktop is a small, but important issue. Other BETA versions do not create a log on the desktop. Anyway, I am a big fan of road tools and this nice mod looks almost ready, so I am waiting for the stable version.

@StayHungryStayFoolish: I didn't receive any bug report on this version actually, why do you say that it has issues? Is there something that I missed?

As a sidenote, I plan to release the stable version during the upcoming holidays because I changed my PC and didn't have enough time to set the development environment yet.

I agree, when the BETA will be working without issues, I will add it to the Road & Vehicles compatible modlist. (It will be soon renamed to Financial whatever DLC compatible list).

@StayHungryStayFoolish - it's a different approach for different needs. So both can be used together or standalone... whatever one prefer. The benefit of PRT is the possibility to save a specific road combination for reuse. NMT benefit is to change things later very easy if you not had build a parallel network before...

Quick update for 1.15.0-f5 compatibility.

@Chris - clicking should place the road, but it isn't at present because of a bug since the Plazas & Promenades update which is causing both the stable and Beta versions of the Parallel Road Tool to not function correctly. The developer has posted to say they are working on an update. :steamthumbsup:

I am trying to use this whilst making a highway, I can get the visual to work but if I click, it doesn't place the road, is this meant to place the road or is it just visual?

Mod breaks sometimes in-game. I'll be using it, then all of the sudden it'll resort back to one road and no matter what I do I have to re-load the same for it to work again.

Very helpful mod. Only problem is when I use it, only one side will connect the nodes (like normal) but the other parallel side doesn't connect at all? it'll just be inside of the other road and not make the intersection/connection to that road. How do I fix this?

Great mod. The only issue I see is that sometimes I can't turn it off. I click the double-road-icon to go back to single roads, but PRL won't go away. I'm forced to use the x on top of PRL, but then when I want to reuse it by click the double-road-icon, it won't come back again.
