When I download this mod, there's a lot of rooms that aren't actually included in the downloaded files, contrary to what is listed in the description of the mod. For example, there is no:
• solarpunk_room.dds
• pre_ftl_ancient_room.dds
• pre_ftl_medieval_room.dds
• pre_ftl_victorian_room.dds
• pre_ftl_modern_room.dds
• observation_post_room.dds
• paragon_azaryn_room.dds
• paragon_keides_room.dds
• paragon_skrand_room.dds
Is this the case for everyone else?

Cyber_Genet 30. jan. 2024 kl. 6:27
I see new species portraits with decadent hierarchie and fanatical purifiers rooms. What are these mods?
Dr. Quackers M.D. 31. dec. 2023 kl. 4:07
So I see the same rooms with the same governments and it's still loosing diversity, each government should have a selection.Or better yet a mod like "AI uses custom ship sets" but for room mods.
SixMonthGaze 28. okt. 2023 kl. 23:48
maybe make these rooms available for the player in diverse rooms
MatrixFC1969 26. okt. 2023 kl. 0:39

AstroCat 26. mar. 2023 kl. 5:39
Update needed for latest 3.7?
Ulthar 10. jan. 2023 kl. 13:19
would you consider absorbing the nature rooms mod by Maisel as it appears dead? and it worked so well with yours.
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 1. dec. 2022 kl. 11:38
Diverse Basics has been updated for Stellaris 3.6
Loveless1987 3. nov. 2022 kl. 7:18
For some reason, this mod cause about 6 backgrounds in my list to be replaced with this mod's default room. If this is a known issue, I apologize. If not, is there away to get around that?
Alzara 9. okt. 2022 kl. 15:50
This mod doesn't seem to work. Says its missing a descriptor file!
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 20. sep. 2022 kl. 15:17
Diverse Basics has been updated for Stellaris 3.5, to be compatible with the Fornax update and the Toxoids Species Pack.

The new Toxoids room has gotten a little makeover, now featuring some gorgeous concept art.
DGiffy 28. maj 2022 kl. 17:20
Could someone tell me if this should go at the top of load order or at the bottom? This mod has never worked for me even tho I dont know what other mods I have that would affect it. It has only ever given every single empire the default room
FireLi0n 24. maj 2022 kl. 13:32
This doesn't modify the checksum, FYI, so it is acheev compatible according to Irony Mod Manager. Thanks for the great mod.
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 16. maj 2022 kl. 1:42
Diverse Basics has been updated for Stellaris 3.4, to be compatible with the Cepheus update and the Overlord Expansion.

These new rooms are:

It is possible to remake on the workshop an old version please? i'm looking for something functional in 1.9
Makk 28. feb. 2022 kl. 4:56
I have an idea, when your empire change it's government type, the room should change automatically.
helgee 3. jan. 2022 kl. 10:39
It would be great if you add compatibility with personalities from Ethics n Civics: Classic. If you don't have time, can you tell me how this can be done?
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2021 kl. 12:25
@MatrixFC1969: My local version of the mod (the one that's on my hard drive) works without a hitch. The Workshop version for some reason doesn't work. I have no clue what's going on. Ever since Paradox released their new launcher, I've been having issues with this. Now there's a launcher update that's failing constantly.. I'll check back with the mod in a couple of days when I have more time. For now, I'm just a bit too frustrated with the way things are going..
MatrixFC1969 6. dec. 2021 kl. 15:23
hello, in the first "default room" description screen the image of the planet with the orbiting station in the mod is gone
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 26. nov. 2021 kl. 1:37
I've made a post on the Paradox Forums letting them know that it would be highly appreciated if they added a new selection screen for the rooms. The post contains a mockup of the new screen, so you can see what I had in mind:

REQUEST: A Room button [forum.paradoxplaza.com]

The same post can be found on Reddit as well

Please go there, comment and upvote. Let Paradox know this is something we would like to see at some point in the near future.
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 23. nov. 2021 kl. 4:32
Besides the basic update to the mod, I've also replaced the standard 'Aquatics' room from the new DLC with a unique underwater room. See the screenshot at the top to sneak a peek!
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 22. nov. 2021 kl. 15:24
Diverse Basics has been updated for Stellaris 3.2 'Herbert'.
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 22. nov. 2021 kl. 15:24
@Hipsu: thanks for checking! Good to know.. :)
Hipsu 6. nov. 2021 kl. 10:45
This mod is in fact achievement compatible even though the description is skeptical about it (I just tested and got an achievement).
Roy 22. okt. 2021 kl. 19:36
Oh, I see. Thanks for all the hard work! :)
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 22. okt. 2021 kl. 13:57
@Roy: Before I forget, thanks for the question! I probably wouldn't have noticed the missing rooms if it wasn't for your question.. Thanks!
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 22. okt. 2021 kl. 13:56
@Roy: No there isn't! But I just fixed that. Turns out I missed quite a few rooms in the past few updates.. I've updated Diverse Basics to include new room replacements for Lithoids, new rooms for the Galactic Custodian / Galactic Emperor, a crisis room and one for the 'Yellow' Fallen Empire, which I had aparently missed. See the screenshots towards the end of the row above for what they look like!
Roy 22. okt. 2021 kl. 5:01
Is there any replacement for lithoid rooms? Everytime when I encounter a random Lithoid Empire, they seem to come up with vanilla lithoid rooms instead of rooms added by "Diverse Rooms" mod.
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 22. sep. 2021 kl. 13:47
Diverse Basics has been updated for Stellaris 3.1.1 Lem.
Gae Forggo 14. juli 2021 kl. 16:07
Is this iron man compatible?
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 16. apr. 2021 kl. 4:32
Diverse Basics is now Dick-compatible!
Pury 23. dec. 2020 kl. 21:27
Same problem as @Randy.

Don't know, but I think the issue is related with "Diverse Rooms".
PİŞMİŞ ŞEFTALİ 10. dec. 2020 kl. 13:47
you are fucking awesome
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2020 kl. 12:21
Preview of the Necroids Room has been added to the Screenshots section.
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2020 kl. 12:05
Diverse Basics has been updated to Stellaris 2.8.*

Replaced the standard Necroids room with a brooding, menacing pyramid. Enjoy!
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 6. dec. 2020 kl. 2:35
@Randy: Seeing the orbital station is a Stellaris bug. You'll see the default screen on first contact. If I'm not mistaken, second contact or other diplomatic contact should display the correct room for their government type.

If that is not the case, I'll need to dig into it further. Also, Cato's advice is really useful here: Diverse Preset Empires is highly recommended to be used as well. That'll fix the rooms for the Paradox-made Empires..

@Reeven: Yes, as far as I'm aware, it shouldn't be a problem. I'll update this mod and Diverse Presets ASAP.
Cato 4. dec. 2020 kl. 7:52
Author mentions it in the description, but I think it should also be a required item for this mod:

Diverse Preset Empires - replaces premade empire backgroudns with ones here. It's the same author.
Peter34 4. dec. 2020 kl. 6:09
That sounds like a problem!
randy 4. dec. 2020 kl. 5:53
This actually makes the rooms you see in game *less* diverse, because all the auto-generated empires now use the same "orbit" image (first in the description), instead of a composite of the basic room and their homeworld surface.

This mod would have been perfect, if it incorporated some scripting to enforce randomization of the "basic" rooms, as opposed to flat image replacement.

Don't get me wrong - the replacemen images look much better than vanilla rooms on their own - but I just keep seing the first one 90% of the time. I'm playing with a "no premade empires" mod, to have maximum diversity on each playthrough, that might be part of the cause.
Reeven 16. nov. 2020 kl. 18:03
Are Presets and Basics safe to use in 2.8 even if the launcher throws a warning? A bit new to modding Stellaris.
Blackfyre  [ophavsmand] 11. nov. 2020 kl. 2:03
I'm not sure.. Since it changes several vanilla files (or at least uses the modded version of those vanilla files) it shouldn't be achievement compatible. That was the way I understood it honestly. If it doesn't change the checksum, maybe it's fine? The only way to know for use is to use it, try an achievement run and see if it pops up..
Cato 10. nov. 2020 kl. 18:14
It's not changing the checksum for me... so that means that this mod actually is achievement compatible right?
Journeyman Prime 19. okt. 2020 kl. 19:07
Does this mod allow you to use FE rooms on normal empires?

If not, do you think you could make one that does?
kgptzac 22. juni 2020 kl. 22:25
Lots of times I have to sort mods alphabetically due to addition, deletion, or just debugging mods that aren't working... is it possible to rename this mod that would cause it to load after Diverse Rooms without having to manually change the order? Thanks.
