HEALING_STREAM_COOLDOWN=1 in XComGameData_MercyClassMod.ini
you need to override it (all files) , as i changed some code
But I got a problem, I build 1 valkyrie and then in GTS Valkyrie don't show to train, help pls.
Besides balance issues, another problem is that soldier AP is always 0.
On the plus side, damage-buffing allies is pretty unique/interesting.
I must say that this is one of the custom classes that I believe will be in the Hall of Fame.
Being able to infinitely heal with high mobility to others without medikits is very powerful even in early game where you need little or no medikits bought.
Buffing damage to others while being in the backline of defense would mean that other soldiers are able to do burst damage if they have the right abilities, and eventually killing a few enemies to keep the healer/support classes safe to push forward quickly.
And with the correct setup of the Valkyrie class that equips items that grants immunity to disruption, that soldier is able to keep their squad going.
Its because I use the RPG Overall mod by mushasi and I do not know why but recently the mod will no longer allow me to train valkeries stats along with any other soldier but by adding the .ini class name on the mod folder in my xcom2 folder it fixes that bug.
I currenly use 23 different class ( not counting the vannilla ones ) and I managed to fixed 9 of them by adding the .ini names to the folder but alas I'm missing many names to fix every thing.
I think it should require a medkit, but then it starts to become redundant with engineers. Ultimately in my opinion, the Guardian perk tree is too strong to the point of unbalanced and also illogical. I think it would make more sense to swap it with a de-buff perk tree for enemies, so this class becomes a true support specialist (not a magical medic):
Perk Trees:
1- De-buff Perk Tree for enemies (discard Guardian)
2- Damage and Defense Buff Perk Tree for friendlies (keep Battle Angel)
3- Buff Perk Tree for self (keep Valkyrie)
I've played the class and liked many aspects of it. This is only my opinion to remove the only aspect I found irking.
The distance limit is nothing enough to be considered or worried. If you did go through Xcom (2012), you are used to have medics who can only heal adjacent units.
I don't mean any offence. You have my big respect to make a good mod. Thank you. I understand you simply can't satisfy everybody. This is just my view.
That's odd; I've used Detailed Soldier Lists since day one and never had any mods go wrong with it. Could you try regenerating your config file or refreshing your mod list?
@object261263
Yep! From my understanding most custom class mods can be enabled mid-game without any problem.
The config folder is located at \Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config. If you delete it, the game automatically regenerates it the next time it starts. Theoretically this "refreshes" your mods but from personal experience it doesn't always work; in fact I switched to the alternative mod launcher for that exact reason.
