Anyone know of a way to get these to work with IMT?

@vasimr22 Please send me a friend request. If you do then I will send you an invite to my group FBS International Airport.

it's also impossible to raise them over your nice airport surface squares

I think I would prefer it if these didn't follow the terrain, so I could control the clipping. I often can't get them to show up around complicated intersections with many runways, taxiways, and shoulders involved

Thank you for all the informations and thank you for your great work for CSL community. I'm civil aviation enthusiasts so it is mostly airlines, airliners and airports. I'm inteested in this stuff a lot so I can really appreciate your assets for airports :) Unfortunately I'm not that great CSL builder but I'm trying.

@Overlord I think the difference is the visual style between the two. The other pack is color matched to the ingame vanilla assets, while mine is matched to real-life photos (and the stop bars) - assuming you use a reasonable or default LUT. It depends on what you are doing, my pack has more assets, but if you don't need the additional ones, then the other pack would be fine. Also, mine are using larger textures, combined with more assets, the pack is larger. However, if you use the loading screen mod to consolidate textures, then the loaded memory footprint should be much smaller (probably under 8 MB), but the footprint on your disk will still be the listed size. Hopefully that helps.

Hello vasimr22. Could you tell me the difference between your pack and this pack?
https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1395566468 This pack is 4 times smaller so probably there is less content I guess? Do you think the smaller pack is enough? :) Thanks.

@Vasmir22 Sorry, I meant "decals" more generally. Not really caught up with what exactly means what in regards to C:S. But yeah, I was just thinking this type would work better since you can make dashed lines with them.
vasimr22  [author] 16 Jun, 2018 @ 1:47pm
@Googlefluff These are not network based decals, they are actual road geometry. Ronyx69 has already uploaded decal based ones for roads.

These network-based line decals are an absolute game changer. Are there any plans to make them for roads as well? It seems the only sets currently available are for airports.

@vasimr22 One of the latest assets to use Network Tiling and one I feel would be more relevant to the current situation is the " Privacy Fence " Asset by Badi_Dea. The network is independent of roads and will not attempt to connect and create weird meshes and texture with the road like such that can be found in screenshots on my profile.

Spectacular! You're the best dude

@Elfyannn that mod does not appear to have anything to do with that, it looks like it only sets shader parameters. Is there a specific asset you are thinking of which doesn't snap to other networks? It's most likely the template prefab that has the non-snapping behavior.
hy/fix8 31 May, 2018 @ 4:05am
@vasimr22 It is a seperate network type in the sense that it does not attempt to connect and create meshing and geometry with otehr networks like roads which can be a nuisnace.
vasimr22  [author] 30 May, 2018 @ 9:19am
@Elfyann I don't see how that mod is relevant, since the description says that it modifies the uv tiling of the texture and nothing else. That would not create an independent network type.
Perhaps you are thinking of Ronyx's lines which are based on a different network which will not render geometry (his lines are props). I didn't try basing them off of walls though, but I don't think that's a good solution.
hy/fix8 30 May, 2018 @ 5:05am
@vasimr I was talking about Ronyx's mod Network Tiling which allows networks like walls or lines to be in an independent network type as to not snap to and crate weird intersections with roads. Do check it our, I highly recommend it.

@Elfyannn I am not sure what you mean by network tiling assets? Are you taking about custom roads with these placed as lane props?
Cab 29 May, 2018 @ 8:22am
Thank you, now is so much better do custom airports. =)
hy/fix8 29 May, 2018 @ 4:22am
I personally would have liked these to be network tiling assets as they are a different type of segment all together but overall i am still happy about these assets.
Distanced 28 May, 2018 @ 1:08pm
The best ones out there
HEESEUNGIE 27 May, 2018 @ 4:24am
Thanks for these lines. Give it a try on my airport,

@ JAPAN AIRLINES日航君,
a) you don't need PLT for this, since it is plopped/dragged as any other road / network
b) PLT will be updated soon. Read the pinned thread: https://sp.zhabite.com/app/255710/discussions/0/1694922345929126811/

This is so great and well-needed, as usual! :) thank you for this!
