I am a fan of this mod line, I used Novio Magnum 3 until it became obsolete. However I was wondering if it were possible to add a Support Ship type to your list, I would say something around Corvette/Frigate size, with the Titan regeneration aura, but perhaps less powerful.

Upgradeable like a combat ship in terms of defense systems (shields/armor etc), but very limited weaponry, possibly restricting to point defenses, to stop them from being spammed as self repairing warships

In some games finding Hull Regenerative Tissue is proving difficult at times.

There are just no Repair Ship orientated mods about, that I can find anyway.

Good question, I use Tall White, Kerogane and Strega - I haven't noticed anything "yet" going wrong - my understanding that these were just skins and did not overwrite vanilla ship types and specs. From what I see Military Ships Extended just slightly resizes the ship when adding a new class.

Obbiously the weapon/equip tech upgrade slots are the true changes - fom what I see the rest is just aesthetics.

What Ship Model mods are compatible with this? I currently have the Kerogane and Strega ship sets enabled, but I don't know if those have models for this.

@Reuz: No, sorry. Tried to reproduce it but I couldn't. Don't see anything in the code that could cause this issue either.

When I run this mod all portraits of ships in the race builder turn black, even when this mod set is the only ship modification set active. Any ideas?

Rectification: Downscaled Ships won't work because the new ship types have their own graphic models with their own scaling.

I don't have any plans on making compatibility patches for those mods at the moment. It would require quite a lot of work and the result would not be balanced. Some of these mods are also naturally incompatible: the graphic changes are actually less than this mod and would have zero impact or mess things up. Downscaled ships actually works but would result in very little ships if combined with this mod. The rest would be possible to patch but I wouldn't know how to achieve a sense of balance.

@Airborne: Thanks. Added to the list of incompatible mods. That mod adds new required component sets to the ship sizes and overwrites the same core file.

This appears to be incompatible with Guilli's ship components. https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=690350384 On starting a new game all the ship types on the empire selection screen are black blobs and upon entering the new game I have no resources and the ability to just keep choosing tradtitions over and over. I went through all the mods I have and narrowed it down to just that one but as I'm not a modder myself I have no idea what would cause it.

Released Military Ships Extended: Armed Civilian Stations which provides weapons to the mining and research stations and is dependent on this mod.

They are not as overpowered as those in Novio Magnum 3 were.

@Eldhras: Though it was always my intention to do exactly that it's a lot of work. I'll also have to overwrite the build-in support of NSC because it conflicts with this mod.

I'll definitely come around to it sometime but because it's so much work I don't yet know when.

Hey man, great mod, as usual. Could you please consider making a patch for ESC, so your ships may use the thrusters, reactors, etc by any chance? It would be awesome!
