When I use higher shader settings, It doesn't do anything at all to make it look better. How can I fix this?

It doesn't replace anything, it simply edits the Desert Rifle (Or SCAR, same thing) to have a chrome appearance.

ill upload more images when workshop allows...keeps giving error when i try to upload pic now
