Hi REV0, excellent stuff. A small remark: This bus merely operating around the city of Zug rather than being a railway replacement. :) So the subject might not denote a German translation in this case. Thank you very much for letting me put a little Swissness into my Skylines.

Not sure, I already made most recent version of swisstrolleys, this batch would have to be remade as its mesh is not up to my current standards

Will there be any updates for the new DLCs?
Also, do you, or will there be other versions? Like Hybrid, Bio fuel, or Electric?

I rather like the charm of towing a trailer rather than the traditional function articulated bus. The bus is fantastic btw. It reminds me of the Nova Bus LF series popular here in North America.

Hi Seamon.

I didn't see the absolute need for it. I assumed mentioning where the base mesh came from would be sufficent; as written in the description it is not a straight import from TF. I made textures myself, edited front and top sections. Only thing left from TF model are mirrors and side faces along with the trailer I think.

That said, I dont use stuff from other games so crediting issue might have handled a bit better perhaps. I sent you friend request, feel free to accept so i can add you as co creator.

Cheers

"The base model was imported from TF" ... is there a reason why you did not talk with me about that?

Update: Fixed axle problem.

Lol never seen a bus with a trailer :D. Only buses and articulaed versions. This looks super weird and I'm surprised it actually drives in Switzerland :D That is awesome.

@ZyloxHD Never been there honestly, I usually see them on bus stop. As for double articulated busses, i will make them as well. For the moment, I'm working on something long overdue, funiculars.
ZyloxHD 23 Dec, 2017 @ 8:51am
@REV0 In Aarau there are ticke machines in busses :)
ZyloxHD 23 Dec, 2017 @ 8:50am
Can you please make the 2 bend trolleybusses fom zurich or luzern?
REV0  [author] 23 Dec, 2017 @ 3:18am
I dont think they are related because, articulated busses in the workshop are not the same as bus + trailer combo. Also the real life version claims better turning radius. Still, I'll look into it see if it changes anything.

I want to like this asset, but I'm frankly not so sure about the need for the middle axle to be its own model. I think that the separation between it and the rear trailer is contributing greatly to the current bugginess when rounding 90 degree corners... other articulated models on the workshop don't appear to suffer from this problem as much, and at the same time this asset is claimed to have a better turning radius...

great model!
surf2explore 21 Dec, 2017 @ 4:59am
@ Graze it Did you mean terrible asset ? If so would it not be a good idea to explain why ? The developer worked on it. Put energy and time in it. Is not fair to just say and not eleberate.

terable assent

Buying bus tickets in switzerland is not obligatory, it is up to passengers' responsibility. So there is no ticket machine in busses. There are people who make "surprise" ticket checks, if you dont have one you pay 100-150 fee. Same goes for trains. You can purchase the ticket in a bus stop (there is a ticket machine) or you can send an sms. Or you can buy bus travel card that is available for specific zones. If these dont suffice and you want to be an elitist you can buy countrywide travel card and pay a fortune.
PALiX 20 Dec, 2017 @ 6:23am
I see one disadvantage comparing to articulated buses - no way to cross from one to another section on the move. Thus if you enter the trailer, how could you buy a ticket from a bus driver? Or is there a bus ticket sale person in the trailer?

(2) We also had a discussion with Jerenable and he said articulated busses are not allowed to use highways, while bus trains can use. They are highly common here, almost in every city, there are bus trains.

Here some info:

(1) Articulated bus is articulated bus, nothing interesting about it. Now about this one, HESS gave some infos in the website; first is passsenger capacity, it's actually higher than an articulated one, since the trailer has almost the same volume (lesser seats). It can be detached when it's required or attached to another bus, giving important flexibility on bus lines. It can make tighter turns than an articulated bus. It is also said that they can road traction is better than articulated ones.
PALiX 19 Dec, 2017 @ 1:11pm
What is this? First time seeing this type of bus, lol. How it is any better than simple articulated bus?

Very nice. Reminds me of the Orion 3's that were used by Niagra Parks for years.

Awesome! Cela m'évoque les trolleys lausannois et leur remorque ...
Nee__ 18 Dec, 2017 @ 9:41pm
Autant ça ne m'étonne pas que tu ais réussi ce bus, autant je suis étonné que ce bus existe.

Thanks ! Good work.
