The metal part of the r8 looks pretty well crafted, and I can understand why you would want the old, worn look, but I think the handle is what really throws me off from the gun. The colors seem to clash, and everything else besides the handle looks so well taken care of that it ruins any sort of worn feel. I do, however really love how the rest of it looks, theres so much attention to detail, it just makes the gun stand out.

@ XQ... yes the normals for CS are giving me a problem at the moment,,, i am trying to find a program that gives finer lines when using normals... any ideas?

Idea is good, but baked texture for cs don't looks realistic on screenshots. I mean metal and gold can be much better.
