The RCSP - Challenger now runs under the tag: FTV - Corrupted Challenger.
We welcome it into our Consuming Family...
It is now properly wired up.
THank you,
When I build ships I ask myself "can you run your hand over it like an old corvette?", meaning is it streamlined to where you wouldn't cut your hand if you ran it over the ship... Weird I know but the aerodynamics look and feel is what you get when you do it right! It's a lot to take in but I hope that answers your question
Luv the glass cockpit. And the space usage and overall the internal structure/walk way layout is nicely done.
May I ask you how you approach building your ships?
Do you have a reference, a sketch or something? Do you just build it, or do you kinda pre-plan the internal layout to fit a pre-determined hull shape, or is it the other way round?
I'm curious...
All my ships are realistic / survival ready, but they are usually not streamlined for also being pretty and/or compact.
Also I really like how double doors are located everywhere - it gives the feel of a proper ship
Ship is a bit hard to navigate since most doors and staiways are not subscribed - you simply can't figure out where the door leads to. I understand that there is simply not enought place for lcd panels (Developers seriosly need to consider implementing 'compound' blocks at least for walkways, light and LCDs), but still it's a disadvantage.
P.S. Would you mind if I remake this ship in Empyrion if I will have a chance to? looks way too good)
Yes i know >_>
I was simply just replying to the question of @BeatToWin.
As you can clearly see by looking at the very first line on my prior comment.
The pictures clearly show ION thrusters being used on this design. IONS are only 30% efficient in within gravitational atmosphere. H2 based systems are NOT required for space travel, they simply provide more thrust.
