Since Gmod has changed, how do i edit the files to change how the jester works? It doesn't work in the server.cfg files

Further note: this is in cl_wepswitch for reference. It seems this issue was fixed for original TTT in 2017 so I guess you just used an old version of the gamemode. Hopefully you can fix this.

Are you able to fix WSWITCH:ConfirmSelection()?

Base TTT calls input.SelectWeapon(w), which calls Deploy() on both server and client
Your mod calls RunConsoleCommand("wepswitch", w:GetClass()), which calls Deploy() on server only. This can break custom weapons that need clientside functionality when the weapon is deploy.

i figured out wha caused the problem.
I disabled an addon of a weapon i added to a role that it wasn't defaulted to.

make sure to check your garrysmod/data/roleweapons you most likely added a weapon there it doesnt like

also check GarrysMod\garrysmod\data\roleweapons

when you go into a weaponshop, it has nothing and in the problems tab it says

Might be a bit off-topic but have you made a mod that has "The Bees Win" standalone? I've been looking for one but haven't found it so far but I remembered that the Yogs were using this mod while that was a thing.

Also whenever i wouldn't want a jester or survivalist i would make the min players 999 so it just keeps reverting back to that for some reason.

Hey idk if you would know a fix for this but for some reason it will randomly change the min players for jester and infected to 999. The survivalist is staying at 4 but no matter how many times i change the others they will randomly switch back. Thanks!

Where are the config files for this mod? It seems to reset every time you restart the server if you use console commands.

Just want to let you know that the stuff you create on here is really awesome and i've created a collection that me and my friends all play on and have a blast. I wouldn't be able to do that if there weren't people like you creating these addons for others to use and enjoy. I had a problem and i had posted a lot of stuff in here but i scrolled down and found your solution that i added something to the detective menu it didn't like. Thanks a lot because now i can use this mod again. :D

I know that there's two entities you can use in hammer, one is an older one called traitor_check and one is a newer one called logic_role so it could be that they're using the older one. Unsure.

Some maps seem to detect the Survivalist and other roles as a traitor. Is this because the traitor check is incorrectly set up in Hammer?

Does ttt_logic_role return the survivalist and pheonix as innocent?

Hey, love the mod but I can't get it to work properly. i've changed some of the roles to only spawn 1/5 randomly but it is only ever the phoenix and it is most round. All the custom roles have the exact same commands input e.g ttt_randomnewroles 1 and then ttt_randomnewroles_ran_jester 5 for each role respectively. They also have the same min spawns. Any help would be apreciated! <3

im sorry everyone that i havent done a update in so long, ive been busy with live streaming and then life would get in away and things would go depressive and something im just not motivated to code, i have like 60% done on huge next update. tbh it had a bit of a feature creep problem

You can't use them both at once. If you want to customize your roles more and use more roles at once, there is another role base

I'm sure you've been asked this before but it's just something that I'd like to know, does this mod work if I have the newer custom roles mod being used in a game or will it just mess everything up? Just want to know in case I somehow corrupt something that I don't understand. Thank's and have a good one.
