I tried to use sfm
loaded in a map
spawned a scout model
saw a silly little green thing at the bottom of the model
dragged it
accidentally recreated the scout creature from emesis blue

so im trying to animate a scout ragdoll to move and the only way i can make its limbs move is with the rotate tool

Hmmm, that's weird. What i meant to say is that the tool by itself doesn't work, even doing what you said. Whenever i have the gun on hand it enables the error messager, and whenever i change to another weapon, it stops.

@NyanCatGamer02 i just managed to simulate circumstances where this issue happens, it appears like some other addon messes up a hook ragdoll mover uses to initialize itself. it is related to drawing the HUD, so functionality shouldn't suffer, but probably having the error pop up is going to be annoying, it should go away if you get some camera tool and switch to its view and back

First, I just want to be polite. I don't want to cause problem. I just want to say nicely.

Second, it's just my opinion so I understand that some of you can disagree with me.

Third and importantly, if I made a mistake in my comment, I will apologize. I can sometime make mistake.

I don't know what happened but for me I don't see any problem with Ragdoll Mover. For me, it's still fine (Or maybe better).

I am sorry because I don't know what happened. I use Ragdoll Mover until now and I only found little problem and it's not a big deal and so far I don't find big problem.

In my opinion, the new update makes it easier for me to create poses. Remember, it's my opinion so some of you have your different opinion and I understand.

I repeat again, I just want to be polite. I don't want to cause problem. I just want to say nicely. It's just my opinion so I understand that some of you can disagree with me. If I made a mistake in my comment, I will apologize. I can sometime make mistake.

no offense @PenolAkushari but just because you make a tool doesn't mean all of us gonna be ridin' ye dick to watch ye yt vid's. as well not to mention that your video you suggested isn't linked at all in the description, not to mention the "updates" make it feel worse, the option of alt being a way to select bones and none physic bones is scuffed and uncomfortable to use, the UNNECESSARILY LARGE amount of buttons that you don't even know what they do, the fact i let alone need a yt video see what half the shit does. not to mention you cant change the alt key, either that or you just hid it somewhere where no one will find it, let alone we can just have an option or toggle that makes things go back to the original mover, you should have just made another tool called advanced rag mover instead of forcing us to adjust to this. and don't give me bs [but its not that different]... then just keep updating that. someday people will go to it.

woah, did this get an update? i was gonna animate something and then got jumpscared by the model's skirt actually... moving! the physics are physic-ing! this is awesome!

For some reason I could not select any bones on a model until I saw it say press the walk key and that fixed the issue. Walk key is alt btw

I'm having problems selecting literally anything. No matter how many times I click on a bone, or switch which bone I'm clicking, or whatever, I cannot select anything on a ragdoll. It seemed to fix itself at one point but then went back to being broken. Others seem to be having my problem too. Whatever changed in the recent update has somehow broken the tool's main functionality.

Please fix

This tool was great up until it got updated. Now, within a few minutes of getting into a map i am unable to select anything on a ragdoll and tbh its annoying and irritating

whats with the new update? i personally didn't see any point n making it, sure it helped like 1 or 2 things, but like, i don't like the fact that the rag mover just magically does a effect and i can select a bone parent its annoying and frustrating when i just want to pose him but i need to swap off from the tool gun for a second, not to mention the update isn't really clarified what it adds at all or fixes, and so idk if you 2 genuinely made the additional ik chains work or not cus idk what they effect, let alone aren't labeled, its also weird why there's 9 of them cus the only ik chain i and others ever wanted was a head ik chain. i just really want to know what this update all about and why the update hasn't been listen in the description

you can find it when you right click on bone nodes in the bone tree, in the dropdown menu thing. video tutorial does cover it in the bone tab section, along with other info that you may find of use, like resetting/scaling to 0 bones through "advanced bone selection"

would you happen to move ragdoll by its physical bones? undo should work with those, but it can't undo movement for nonphys bones, as it wasn't made for those. or your issue also gets rid of the ragdoll when moving it by phys bones? console doesn't write anything? or perhaps ragdoll gets moved to position where you spawned it at

Some time ago it worked fine when I was using physgun undo addon by winded. But now it's not working with it and when I don't have it installed. Is that normal? To clarify, when I was using Ragdoll Mover and moved things I could undo and it would take me one step back. Now it's just only applying to the physgun actions and when I hit undo ragdoll just dissapears. I was just curios why is it not working as it did before and how can I fix it if I can

the update seems to have messed some stuff up, sometimes it just WONT let me select bones on a ragdoll and then i have to restart the whooole map, could you maybe upload a Legacy version of the addon?

did u update the mod, because i used to be able to select a part of the model then scale it to zero without having to use a slider but now its not there
