  • Updated German Localisation to v1.3 (HUGE thanks to Son of the Stars again
  • Fixed bug with planet destroyers not clearing infested planets
  • Fixed bug with destroying planets in crisis territory causing an opinion malus.
  • Fixed bug with destroyed planet's owner opinion malus.
  • Added an error message to explain why the Avatar cannot destroy certain planets.
  • Lowered Titan health regeneration by ~5%
  • Lowered Leviathan health regeneration by ~2.5%
  • Lowered Leviathan attack speed by ~10%

Features

Every new ship class and doomsday weapon comes with its own technology chain. See New Technologies Overview (big image!)[i.imgur.com] for more details.

Using doomsday weapons will tick everyone off. But hey, the only way to win now is through conquest anyway.

Avatar
  • A doomsday weapon built into a massive space station. Doom stars are here at last!
  • Extremely effective against other capital ships. However, it is very vulnerable to attacks by swarms of small vessels.
  • Can be used to deploy all available doomsday weapons, including the planet destroyer - Spear of Longinus.
  • Extremely expensive and time consuming to build. Requires completion of a special construction event chain.
  • Cannot be constructed from spaceport. Instead, build a constructor that will deploy an Avatar Construction frame that will start the construction project
  • Defend the construction frame from enemy attacks while it is under construction.
  • Only one Avatar may be owned at any time.
  • Known issues:
    • The raider fleets drop far too much debris after being destroyed.

Sun Crusher
  • Doomsday weapon that comes attached to a ship.
  • Destroys star systems, nova'ing the star and turning glassing all planets. Also destroys all ships in the system. Destroyed systems lose all orbital deposits. However, galaxy map will still show them as the original star type.
  • Extremely slow. You have to get this ship into orbit around a star to activate it. Not too great of an offensive weapon against enemy fleets, but might be possible. Did I mention it is really slow?
  • Expensive (~20k mins) and time consuming (1800 days) to build
  • Other empires will hate you for building/using this. You can, however, use this against crisis invaders with no backlash.
  • Research chain continues from Titan Doomsday weapons research and Leviathan chain. You need to complete both to start on the Sun Crusher chain.

Leviathan
  • Extremely fast and maneuverable super capital ship - it is almost as fast as a destroyer.
  • Only 6 large weapon slots. However, weapons receive a 390% damage boost and 110% attack speed boost. Does not provide any fleetwide auras
  • Relatively weak defences, but has great evasion (33.7% base) for a ship its size.
  • Extremely expensive (~26k mins) and time consuming (2400 days) to build
  • Research chain automatically continues from Titan chain and unlocks two new ship parts (Phased Armour and Phased Shields)

Titan
  • A massive super-capital ship that is able to deploy low - mid level doomsday weapons.
  • 3 different cores allowing you to choose behaviour and ship characteristics. Either close ranged tank, mid ranged balanced, or long ranged damage dealer.
  • Moderately expensive (~13k mins). Takes 1800 days to build.
  • Once researched, unlocks various new fleet-wide auras.
  • Also unlocks doomsday weapons.
  • Research chain automatically continues from vanilla technologies.

Doomsday Weapons
  • Deployed by either Titans or Avatars, these weapons of mass destruction allows you to annihilate enemy planets and populations at a cost.

  • Evolutionary Virus - Every month, any planet being bombarded with less than 10% hp and a Titan / Avatar size ship in system will lose 3 populations and 2 armies. This will continue until bombardment stops or all populations are dead. 5% chance of turning the planet barren.

  • Neutronium Kinetic Bombardment - Every month, any planet being bombarded with less than 10% hp and a Titan / Avatar size ship in system will have 4 - 5 tiles converted to radioactive wastelands, and lose 1 army. This will continue until bombardment stops or all populations are dead.

  • Nanite Disassemblers - Every month, any planet being bombarded with less than 10% hp and a Titan / Avatar size ship in system will have 1 building and 1 population destroyed. This will continue until bombardment stops or there are no buildings and populations left.\n\nEach building destroyed will generate about 350 minerals and 50 energy. Each population destroyed will generate about 350 energy and 50 minerals.

  • You need to have researched Sentient AI for doomsday tech to show up (Because asking a human / xeno to push the button will scar them for life, and we all know sentient AIs don't really mind killing us).

  • More doomsday weapons coming! Post suggestions if you have any ideas for new weapons.

  • Phased Armor - [ S : +85 HP | M : +170 HP | L : +340HP ]
  • Phased Shields - [ S : -37HP, +187 Shields, -15 power | M : -75HP, +375 Shields, -30 power | L : -150HP, +750 Shields, -60 power]
  • Researched from Leviathan research chain.
