Mod is now updated for full compatiblity with New Ship Classes & More. The AI will build ships from both mods for more epic space battles! Huge thanks to Captain for working together to make them compatible

  • Fixed bug with using the Avatar on empty planets within your borders
  • Added system scale definitions and files in case the graphics mod is not being used to preserve visuals and aesthetics (Will cause probably conflicts with mods that add ringworlds).
  • Removed modification of vanilla file 00_country_types.txt
  • Renamed defines file to prevent possible conflicts.

  • Normal Mode Crisis Balancing (Only applies if the Unbidden / Prethoryn Scourge have yet to spawn)
    • Unbidden ships now have -10% ship HP and shields, and -10% weapon damage (Normal difficulty only)
    • Prethoryn Scourge ships now have -25% ship HP, -25% fire rate and -20% weapon damage (Normal difficulty only)
    • Delayed Prethoryn Scourge spawn by 25 years (Normal difficulty, new game only)

  • Fixed bug with planet destroyers not clearing infested planets
  • Fixed bug with destroying planets in crisis territory causing an opinion malus.
  • Fixed bug with destroyed planet's owner opinion malus.
  • Added an error message to explain why the Avatar cannot destroy certain planets.
  • Lowered Titan health regeneration by ~5%
  • Lowered Leviathan health regeneration by ~2.5%
  • Lowered Leviathan attack speed by ~10%

v1.3 - Introducing the Avatar

Avatar
  • A doomsday weapon built into a massive space station. Doom stars are here at last!
  • Extremely effective against other capital ships. However, it is very vulnerable to attacks by swarms of small vessels.
  • Can be used to deploy all available doomsday weapon, including the planet destroyer.
  • Extremely expensive and time consuming to build. Requires completion of a special construction event chain.
  • Cannot be constructed from spaceport. Instead, build a constructor that will deploy an Avatar Construction frame that will start the construction project
  • Defend the construction frame from enemy attacks while it is under construction.
  • Strength of attacks is based on how many Empires already distrust you.
  • Only one Avatar may be owned at any time.
  • Known issues:
    • The raider fleets drop far too much debris after being destroyed.

New Doomsday Weapon
  • Deployed by either Titans or Avatars, these weapons of mass destruction allows you to annihilate enemy planets and populations at a cost.

  • Nanite Disassemblers - Every month, any planet being bombarded with less than 10% hp and a Titan / Avatar size ship in system will have 1 building and 1 population destroyed. This will continue until bombardment stops or there are no buildings and populations left.\n\nEach building destroyed will generate about 350 minerals and 50 energy. Each population destroyed will generate about 350 energy and 50 minerals.

  • More doomsday weapons coming! Post suggestions if you have any ideas for new weapons.

General Changes
  • The Crisis threat opinion boost now only applies to your empire. This means everyone will continue fighting each other, leaving all the fun of handling the Crisis to you. Yay!

Fixed ED difficulty modifier application and spawn events.

  • German localisation added (HUGE thanks to Son of the Stars for providing the translation!)
  • Tweaked ED invader spawn time. They should spawn in approximately 110-150 years now depending on luck.
  • Nerfed Leviathan base evasion by ~8%.
  • Added a crisis opinion boost for all empires to replace the borked shared threat. All empire opinions will be boosted based on the strength of the crisis, resulting in less wars.
  • Tweaked crisis fleet power so AI will be more willing to engage them. This may make crises too easy. Will tweak along the way
  • Fighters are now point defense again. Bombers and fighters buffed slightly.
  • Fixed some battleship / cruiser sections tags so the AI doesn't make bad design choices.
  • Doomsday weapon technology now awards +influence generation.
  • Tweaked threat modifier slightly, it should lower maximum threat by ~25%.
  • Increased fleet upgrade speed back to approximately 1.1 values

  • Fixed advanced start AIs spawning with Sun Crushers. If you started a new game in previous version your advanced start AI is probably gimped due to maint costs. Sorry
  • Added english to other localisation files so that at least some text appears instead of tags
