Added:
  • New main menu wallpapers for each infected + a generic one. These new main menu wallpapers are independend from the mod and as such you can activate them even without activating the infected. However I haven't added music to them because I consider that most people who play with TLOU related modpack will have TLOU musics already installed.

Mod clarification:
There seemed to be a bunch of confusion on a few features, how each infected behave based on the small lore description I made of them. As such I heard your screams of pain and considered a small rework on expressing what each infected could do and how they behaved.
The list of behaviors for each infected will be increased in size after each new behavior added (such as blind clickers or animation updates)

  • Updated sandbox options with visuals and a bit more detail on the infected activation

What's new in this version ?

  • Complete rewrite and optimization of the code
  • Proper custom HP (no longer will you one shot zombies that should have a lot of HP)
  • Utilizes a framework I created which allows any modder to add their own zombies ! This means anyone could add a new type of infected for TLOU (hello Ratking and Shambler :P)
  • Bloaters now destroy structures very fast thanks to their strength
  • Custom animations for Clickers. These will become better and better after a few updates
  • Infected now hop over fences to not abuse them easily, can be deactivated for Runners and Stalkers

What's next ?

The reason I created this rework is to have stable and readable code compared to the past versions of the mod. The old version bases itself on CDDA Zombies which has its code entirely in chinese and it's a complete mess. There were also a bunch of flaws to it that made zombie types reshuffle when reloading an area (leaving it and coming back or relaunching the save)

Multiplayer currently has a few weird problems, I plan on working on those in the upcoming week

  • Animations are planed for the Bloater
  • Truly blind Clickers are planed
  • Proper stable MP fix
  • More optimizations and improvements
  • Reimplementation of evolution
  • And more !
