MAKE SURE TO MODIFY YOUR CLICKERS AND BLOATERS HEALTH SETTINGS TO 1 OR THEY WILL BE WAY MORE TANKY THAN EXPECTED !



Armor system
  • New armor system ! Default health for the clickers and bloaters was reduced and was replaced with methods which take into account the caliber of the gun you use to shoot them, to damage their armor.
  • A caliber with more energy will be more capable of damaging the armor of Clickers or Bloaters. They will take increased damage when their armor is fully removed, and depending on the energy of the projectile they will also take extra damage.
  • Use shotguns or powerful hunting rifles chambered in large calibers such as .308 or .50 Cal (modded guns) to remove the armor of Bloaters and make your life easier to take them down.
  • Sandbox options to tweak their armor points and the required energy to take down Clickers and Bloaters !
  • Uses a data base of each gun caliber from various mods. This data base gets updated with new ammo types to be recognized.
  • However currently lacks visual indication of how much armor you removed.

Don't thread on me !
  • Infected can now push you when you're stepping on them. Do not be cocky and step too long on infected or you risk getting pushed and becoming vulnerable !
  • You can't fall on your back, but you will get staggered !
  • Sandbox option to deactivate and customize time before being pushed for each individual infected ! Set to time to stand on infected 0 to deactivate.
  • Hitting the infected will reset the countdown to step on them, use quick melee weapons to more easily stagger them and actually manage them easier. Slower weapons might become fatale when standing on an infected !

  • Sandbox options look nicer, with categories and shit
  • NEW DEFAULT HP SETTING FOR CLICKERS AND BLOATERS ! Set it to 1 !

  • Infected now burn faster (new sandbox option in stats of the infected tab)

Changed:
  • The code for infected searching for buildings or go out during night time. This should help with optimization and possibly MP desyncs due to infected hiding (yes was most likely a thing that no one had realized, even myself until I came back to the function that handled it)

Fixed:
  • Option for infected seeking indoors not being properly aligned to the game time (30 minutes not being actually equal to 30 minutes in-game)
